I too still like [over] procs, I still have three on my An'quat dmg tank, mostly because I had them available at epic but also because having those overs proc while FAW is cooling down is nice and they make my engineering toon still look tough (& relevant).

It's a consumable battery. Can't upgrade it, can't get them in epic. Works just fine though.

Basically. Grind up a ton of dil to buy phoenix packs from the dil store when they're available. Then get a ton of upgrades from the phoenix store and sit on them until an upgrade event rolls around.

Yes, the build is meant to show that basically, damn near anything can be viable, you just have to be able to fly it.

Instead of the quantum phaser set, use the temporal rep set. The 3 piece bonus is wicked with the 4 piece ICO.

You can buy a 6th slot at the Fleet Spire if your fleet has the holding progressed far enough.

It was largely off-meta at the time, it'll still do ok, but will need a few tweaks. Most notably, swapping to Aux2Bat with 3 tech doffs for CD reduction.

The thing with this build was it was so off meta it's still somewhat viable, just need to swap the CDR method over to aux2bat. There's a few other tweaks, and it's one of the builds I'd like to revisit if I get around to making some more vids.

Not long. I've been in the game for a couple months, after joining way back in 2010. Spent about 5 years away, ran an MVAE for the longest time till I returned and found out how weak they are. I have a T6 non-fleet defiant tac escort, that I'm gearing up for this build and I'm 80% of the way there without having to spend a real-world dime or roll boxes. You will need to re-spec for sure, and spend EC, but after two weeks, I'm at least at half the DPS he's doing only because I don't have the vengeance or T3 ship's consoles, nor do I have the krenim stuff, same DOFFS, BOFFS, or fleet consoles etc. The only real issue I have is how much of a glass cannon you are on this build, which can't be helped. You sacrifice hull/shield for major DPS and what helps is the dmg = health ability much later that heals you to a certain degree depending on how much damage you do. It's a really good build still, and you can pick up everything if you farm enough EC except the device he has that was a one time only device drop, and the T3 ship with the broadside firing console which must be purchased unfortunately.
