I don't get the reaction to this loss online. This is not a full strength crusaders side, it's just a pre season game, and they very nearly got the draw. All the articles online are using words like "massive win" "humbled" etc, like it was some blowout

Well in fairness its not full strength munster either but yeah the articles don’t make sense I wil say munster are not at the best URC team Glasgow warriors,Bulls,Leinster are better champion vs champion was this match big hype but munster won the URC the same way the Highlanders won SR in 2015 great story but not really sustainable over long period I would’ve preferred seeing full strength crusaders vs Bulls as a reminder of the old days but it is what it is

Munster is currently in eleventh place on the URC log so they are below mid table. Munster have only won five out of thirteen games in all competitions in Europe this current season. The Crusaders might have played in their first game but they also played against a below average European team by the current seasons standards.

@rogue_luko I think most of the munster reaction to this game has been tongue in cheek. We don't actually think we've been crowned the best team in the world after a friendly. We're not even the best team in the country. However, it's nice to pretend and have a bit of fun with it. I was at the game myself, and it was a great occasion. Let's not forget that Minster vs All Blacks when Munster too the AB's to the wire as they were on season. Crusaders team has alot of newbies on too. They've not got their key players and so as Munster. I thought Munster will put in a good margin on this game considering they're on-season and the team is gelled in well but you can just tell how good the Crusaders to counter all this and continue to hold on. Great game overall and well done Munster for an awesome host and a quality game!

In all honesty this win for Munster is as lackluster as it comes. A team in mid season playing with a team in pre season and this is what we get?? As a URC proponent i wouldn't take this win with so much confidence. However, moving forward WR should consider adding the Super rugby teams in EPCR and Challange cups so we can see a wider variety of good rugby.

The Crusaders from 2017 - 2019 are the best rugby team that ever existed just watch the super ruggby highlihgts and 2019 was the absolute peak. even then the crusaders from 20-23 were amazing they had cracks but still managed to perform. any team under razor is the greatest in history his record has been proven its why BB has re-signed with NZR at 32 after he hinted to moving on. It is why richie mo'unga singed with japan before razor was given the ABS head coach and will come back to the NZR in 2027 to play under his old coach for a few years. Razor is the greatest coach in rughy union rn and i already got him losing only 2 out of 15-16 test this year in the international season and probs only 3-4 tests in the next 4 years.
