New "smart" mouthguard technology, if a player receives an impact greater than 75g linear acceleration, they are automatically pulled from the field & assessed.

Bad performance by the Crusaders..Very Outstanding game plan by Chiefs.. keep the ball loose and drain the energy from the crusaders big boys... Rees once again lead player for Crusaders.. There were moments the Crusaders line was so far forward they could have been Chiefs. Real defensive issues in their midfield that caused them to revert to their tight five and close channels in the second half. Chiefs lost shape when McKenzie left the field.
