soon as I saw him hit the front tire you lost me. Terrible!

You can not tell by tapping a tire what the air pressure is, this is old school and a bad way to go

your right you can't tell the air pressure by tapping the tire. But you can tell by the sound of the thump. full tire wile have a higher pitch thump.. and a low tire will have a deeper sound to it.. when I do my pre trips I have a air gauge with me incase I hear a deeper sound while hitting the tires.
