I’m with breaking the Spiritual bondage of depression, but people of God let us remember to use wisdom and get therapy when it is needed. We will never ever spiritualize Depression, anxiety, etc. Pastor Jamal Bryant is Right about praying and using His Spiritual authority to break the bondage depression causes.. However, Pastor Jamal Bryant is not a Therapist to say one does not need medication. Some people do, and it along with the Spiritual Breakthrough is keeping them mentally and spiritually healthy in Jesus name! In the Old Testament the Prophet Elijah was in a whole Depression, wanting God to take his life because he was Scared of Jezebel! Jezebel was an evil woman. Elijah was anointed by God but the man was Depressed! However, he went to God who already knew what was going on. Father God gave him the spiritual strength for his journey, but he also assigned him another human body named Elisha. God wants us to use wisdom and understanding.

When I first got on it medication some of my FAM was calling me a witch and hollering at me. It only made my nerves worst and not take it. Off and on. Off and on. I stayed with friends who were saved but then the husband was putting his hands on me. Praying on me but putting his own spirjs on me...I need help... Spiritually abused and deceived. Pray

Absolutely, I think more people need to understand that it's ok to admit and know that it's ok not to be ok. And it's also ok after laying hands, anointing with oil and prayer that going for professional help for mental/emotional struggles is not only fine but necessary for some people. It's ok to get help outside of the church walls and God is with you. Please get the help you need, when you need it. Peace and love 🙏🏼✝️
