My grandmother passed away a few weeks ago. It was one of the hardest days of my life. I have walked with God for almost 15 years. I loved her so much. It was only after she passed when I figured out why I loved her so much: she loved the way she did because God loved her - and in turn she wanted to love like Him. Your grandmother loved you the way God loved her. She wanted you to see God's love for yourself in your life. Our grandmother's love pointed us to the Father's love!

Maybe you should check out a local church, as a one time non believer/recovered drug addict. God saved me, and I know he can save you too. Your issue may not be drugs, and you may not really have an "issue." But nothing is better than the love of my savior, it's something I cant explain, but when you feel it, you will know it.

you claim to be a proud Christian and love this song. how does this song help you to live in the Spirit? all i see is the view point of the flesh. scriptures teach us God gives us our strength, and is the one who helps us, Isaiah 41:10. like the good samaritan, when one is down, another is needed to pick them up. yet this song says LEARN to pick yourself up. am i missing something? as you also have 45 likes at this time for your comment.
@armyjikook13955 жыл бұрын
@@charlesnorman4676 it doesn't teach you have to pick yourself up, all alone. It says if one can learn how to help themselves then God will also help him. You can't expect God to work in your life if you don't give him the green light. You have to want help and want God for Him to be there and help you. He won't force us to do anything. And often helping yourself means just reaching out for help.
@charlesnorman46765 жыл бұрын
@@armyjikook1395 one is not able to learn for themselves, one needs a teacher, thus the only teacher, our Heavenly Father and now His Son. the green light is following. we each have thoughts, what thoughts you follow is what your nature is. the Lord comes to help change us from a wicked heart to a Godly heart. the whole battle is over self-improvement; we are created in His image and likeness, yet we are like satan when we put forth our hand to do evil, or use our words to further satans desires.
