there are no class quests anymore at all, preach. i remember having a blast overcoming the water totem for my shaman it was a great experience. its hard to get new people into wow because the leveling process is so boring and easy.

The Orc Warrior was technically violating the ToC by having his pals bring their Alliance toons to help his Horde toon. It would fall under the 'spirit of the game' or 'playing the game as it's intended to be played' region. Not sure on the exact wording. But, you're right. Blizz gives zero shits about anything other than their stockholders.

Preach Troll DKs are literally the best race option that Horde has for pvp since their weakness is roots and the troll racial helps with that. And naturally when snapshotting was a thing they had the best option for UH dot damage.

Demon quests were amazing. Void walker i was like. yaaay I can haz tank now. And succubus was so cool I remember talking to some random warlock in bootybay.. and the mount.. i was so happy. I was the poorest motherfucker there is. lvl 40 riding. NO PROBLEM. aaaa.. and my infernal.. I had no idead how i even got on this quest but suddenly I could summon an infernal. Epic steed and Doomguard were those that I missed sadly. :(

+Nemolicious I loved how after the end of the infernal quest niby the almighty would summon a giant chicken that would chase him around while screaming "DEATH TO STORMWIND!". The epic mount quest was amazing. the final battle was beautiful. You fought waves of incoming demons, while maintaining the ritual components using the souls of your enemies (well, your soul shards), Enslave one of the elites, lay waste to the imps, and at the end you fight a dreadlord. Honestly can't remember much about the dreadlord but i loved that battle so much. Did it a few times helping other locks get their mounts too.

In addition to the demon summon and dread steed chains they also removed the Blood Knight loyalty quests and the polearm specific to blood elf paladins is gone too. Plus side: Rare as fuck weapon. Downside? That chain was cool as fuck

Realm First fishing, moooove mate! Bloody fishing in WoW is the worst. I wanted to get the mount from Nat Pagle so I committed myself to the grind, but I didn't have a second monitor to watch stuff while doing one of the most boring things in the game (short of camping TLPD/Aeonaxx, fuck that), so I'd have to alt tab every cast to pop windowed youtube on top of WoW, just next to where my cast landed until the 'splash', click it, cast, alt tab, then try again. And every time you got 4-5 lunkers you had to go all the way back to garrison to turn them in because they didn't stack past 5 even after blizzard significantly buffed the droprate. You can't even fish up the sea turtle from the pools in WoD either (though you can fish it up from the shipyard nets so I've been making a good bit of gold selling fish while trying for it. Good gameplay. :P

Yes, Preach, levelling is so fucking awful right now. It's one long grind with basically no interruptions, there are no interesting quests or other cool moments to break up the levelling experience, and with each raising of the level cap it gets worse.

The Best fishing pool in the game is the one from STV Competition. He wouldn't have had this issue if, he had his PvP disabled. I remember reading all Tactics on Karazhan on WoWwiki back then and thinking: Holy shit Attune is gonna be impossible and we one shot him. The reason why, Blizzard removed Class Quest to get Free Paladin mount or Demons was because their was Slackers that couldn't be ask to do and cause issue for their guild.

I love the idea of class specific quests, but not quests to unlock abilities that should by all rights be default. Warrior getting a quest to be a bodyguard for an NPC? Interesting. (At least without escort mission BS, anyway.) Warrior having to do a quest just to get defensive stance, the stance they absolutely need to be Prot? Awful. More class specific quests could have interesting flavor. Such as rogues getting a quest to sneak past guards, pickpocket a specific mob and sneak back out without breaking stealth. Interesting concept. But if you had to do a specific quest just to gain Stealth. Absurd. (I know that isn't a thing they actually had, it's an extreme example to make a point.)

73 people to take Darnassus? If vanilla Darn was anything like it is these days, you could take out half of it with just five people. Something I've actually seen people attempt on a rare occasion. Usually a mix of druids and rogues, of course. You could probably wipe out Stormwind just from all the high graphic settings Alliance players lagging out from the sheer number of models.

Leveling is dog fuck now. Seriously. LFR leveling. Vanilla made it an achievement. Now “I have two max characters!”, means nothing now. And boosts 🤯🔫. Yes I took the boost when I came back at WOD and it made it boring as fuck.
