This might seem like bullshit but I am absolutely sure I am the shitter from the Kara run. Just about everything was true except for me being a clicker. I had never been to Upper or lower Kara before, and had been gone from WoW for about a year. I heard the story and about shit my pants laughing because I even remember blinking into the group and killing someone by fat-fingering blink. 10/10.

Xalted so, you're already behind if you're looking for a guild in the first couple weeks of an xpac. And usually most good guilds are filled right before the xpac because they don't want to be behind

It's like being 'on time' in the military. If you're on time, you're late. If you're early, you're on time. To answer your question though (despite not knowing what off-season roster changes are) the first weeks of a new expansion can set the tone for the following 7 or 8 months of raiding/socialization/whateverthehell, so most guilds want to start off strong if they can. They want to level to cap and run dungeons to get some loot on their skinny blood-elf asses so that when Wing 1 of Raid 1 opens, they can be in that door ASAP and not be able to actually do it because something is invariably bugged.

Always play male characters even blood elves lol the only time I've ever made a character female was when I made my first alliance character back in like cata I made a female nelf druid for the Double agent achievement. Then never touched her again. idk I dont like think it's weird when people play females as guys but I just don't do it lol I get super immersed into the storylines when questing and even dabbled in RP for a while back in wrath / cata so Always role male characters regardless the race if I plan on actually playing them a lot. As I have no idea what it's like to be a female and have no desire to immerse myself in that situation so I stick to playing male characters as it makes the immersion a lot easier. Idk to each their own that's just how it is for me but no judgment to anyone else however they play.
