Pixel Remaster has a lot of qol changes, but both the pixel remaster and the DS remake are based directly on the difficulty of the original Japanese version. This will become evident when Preach faces Cagnazzo. The easiest version of the game is the English SNES release, which was dialed back significantly from the Japanese SFC release.

@@PromptedSpoon19 Yeah that was mega cringe, I hope he'll still play it to the end eventually. Chat really has to behave themselves because it was clearly affecting the stream's mood :( FF7 is great game, let's not ruin the experience for Preach any more than this.
