The King James was translated in 1610. The New international version and the New American Standard were translated in the early 1970's and the New Living Translation was translated 1996. These are a few of some good traslations from the Hebrew, Aramaic ,and Greek. The words used are to convey the currant vocabulary of the time place. In Christ Steve Bledsoe

The niv translations and others change the word of god.....the true word of god is the kjv.......the bible says that we need not change the word one bit....as for people not be able to understand the kjv...jesus said the gospel can be revealed to babes...all you have to do is have a willing heart.....and sometimes we have to have a fiery preacher get on our case....
