I agree. Id like to see open range animal possibilities where you can build pastures. Also, be able to cake or grind hay like we do irl. But, I like many things 22 is doing, its getting closer. I have no man's land made into a ranch/farm lol

I wish the John Deere see and spray was $39,000 in real life. Buddy just had one quoted at $120,000 and had to buy a new $499,000 sprayer with it.

@@farmnurse1831 they didn't buy it! They were just getting prices to compare. Its a very expensive business and most things on Farming Simulator are actually cheaper than the real life versions.

I doubt see and spray is available on every sprayer. In real life it is only available on John deere sprayers. I don't think john deere will let this change even for the game.

Interesting information! I noticed that it was copyrighted and trademarked, but I didn’t see anything to prove the latter. However, your guess I think is probably right on! If that something that they own, and we’re getting one of their sprayers, I think you’re absolutely right. That may be the only one we see it on. 👍

So I went back and double checked my source, and it did say that it would be available on the John Deere sprayer, but it didn’t say only on that one. However, logic and your comment tells me I think we can expect it only on that one. I guess we will know tomorrow! I appreciate you commenting and letting me know the fine details on the backend!

They could add Weed-It, that mounts on lots of different sprayers.

You're right I just re-read the "blog" and it says you will need the "supplied" John Deere sprayer for "see and spray" applications. And you're right it's a patented JD tech so I can't see them letting you put the tech on a Case IH sprayer, or some other one.

Speaking of precision, Is it possible to set a location to start from in a saved game? It keeps dumping me in the middle of the map. It's a huge waste of time to have to run all the way back to my farm every time I start the game.

I think the environmental score is gonna destroy precision farming cos I am dreading it like u get better yield but crop prices will go down and if u use shallow cultivator u get a higher price but lower yield

I have one question. Who the heck thought that introducing the environment points in this DLC will be something useful but in the same time there is an info that amount of points have nothing to do with prices for crops. Then why you have to be even bothered by the fact that you have to collect some points. Why?

the plant oilseed radish will be a very good "cover crop" for reduced tillage and nitrogen then in the spring get a seeder or planter and plant right into it

In FS22 plowing prevents weeds so a lot of people plow every harvest as a way of stopping weeds without the yield loss of herb

Difficult for me to swallow that they go in such details about ground type while the weather has 0 impact whatsoever in FS22. You can harvest in full rain, it could never rain and your crop wiill be fine, can work the field in the middle of winter on afrozen ground.... and so on. Weather is the most important parameter of farming and it is not considered at all. But for some reason they thought that variable seed rate is an important detail...

I know that if you harvest while it is raining in fs22 you lose around 15% yield on most crops.

FS won't be realistic until we get to fight JD over Right to Repair ingame... Or at the very least, the repair mods won't work on their equipment, forcing you to have to go to the dealer for maintinence.

Soooo ... on the 30 points for weed control, it's only available with "see and spray" ... in other words John Deere is being forced upon us? As a "Case-only (where possible)" farmer, I hold up a big red digit to all the green and yellow fans 🤣😛

Sadly no, the supplied sprayer is a European model the John Deere R732i doesn't exist on the US site, I had to go to the UK site to find it.
