Im a newer Kazuya player, and I wanted to know.. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU CONSISTENTLY HIT ELECTRIC STUN?. I can't seem to land a regular wind god fist or electric wind god fist right, and even up doing it by accident or a dragon uppercut.

Looking very forward to the crouch jab infinite video. Crouch jab CDC crouch jab is the most TAS looking combo, I need to incorporate it. How feasible do you think down throw CDC regular jab is at 0%? It looked like the buffer window was tight af since the crouch dash was cancelled on the earliest frame.

@@not2mportant.797 You need to tap the A button to get either WGF or EWGF. Holding A will give you Dragon Uppercut from Crouch Dash. So to get EWGF tap A while holding DF (the last input of Crouch Dash) of what would be frame 1 or frame 2 of your CD, otherwise tapping A in your CD will give WGF. Also Z/grab is a macro for Tap A + shield so that will always give you WGF or EWGF from CD. Keep in mind though that you cannot buffer using the Z button, but it might be good to practice at first that, then start using the A button when you get that down.

@@cheezyboy2511 Probably not feasible at lower percents. I just replied to your other comment with this, but yeah it is a frame perfect motion into a 1 frame link at lower percents. At higher percents Crouch Jab gets more plus, so it gets a bit more lenient then. You can also setup Crouch Jab to be more plus in some situations like in the last Terry clip I was plus enough to get a Side-B from Crouch Jab.

That last Kazuya combo was 🔥 Who knew he could loop Up-Tilt into D-air like that? In all seriousness, I think the usage of Jab in order to give the proper amount of advantage for a frame perfect electric (against the floaty characters) will be really good since it limits DI opportunities! I’m not exactly sure as to what that Sids tech is, I’m not even sure what its applications are? Do you have more resources on that tech, I can’t really theorycraft a usage of it that benefits Kazuya or can’t be replaced by another technique

LOL yeah and there are a lot of places you can routes them into a grounded Electric instead of an AA Electric. Against floaty chars a Max Rage AA Electric might send them too high to get the drag down nair. Little tough, but this might be the better route in some scenarios. Sids tech is all this thread twitter.com/Sids_SSB/status/1430190608136691715 which started out as doing a double jump to get combos easier with rage and then Sids evolved that to the platforms in the last post of thread. Then Ferps helped popularize it and started showing a lot of stuff with it and it became the Ferps tech. Here I am using an IDJ fair (no platforms) to setup for a follow up fair/nair that you can combo out of even at 0% - 0%. Where you can even reroute Greninja back to a grounded Electric from an Electric at 0% -0%. Then the quick double jump fair (with platforms) I'm still labbing out, I don't know how useful it will be, but I was looking for something could cover both DI to and away from the platform.

The most impressive thing in my opinion in crouch jab into CDC crouch jab. Such precise input timing for buffering the crouch dash cancel… trying to master it on GCC but it’s hard as fuck

Yeah definitely lol. At higher percents its a bit more lenient, but at lower percents like the first Sora clip, it is a frame perfect motion into a 1 frame link. Tough on any controller, but buffering the CDC probably harder on the GCC. Won't be me doing that lol. Also I'll have a whole video out on this in the next couple days.

Yes! and all of the 0 to death combos are nearly, if not completely inescapable. (still have to account for DI/platforms in the EWGF nair spots) TYVM! Some of these are were so hard lol!

Amazing stuff as per usual! I can not wait too get my box so I can start doing cjab infinites..... I am going to be labbing so much more when I get it. I have felt so restrained on GCC recently. Thanks for the ideas/routes You were doing a few of those jab coombos at low percents, are those still true? Or was it just the specific character?

TYVM! Nice, it will be a learning experience but hopefully it will be fun and worth it! The Jab12 Electric combos? Against floatier chars it can be true depending on how you hit the AA Jab12. In all clips here it is true. Stuff like jabbing frame 1 after the Electric stun can setup against floaty chars for another Electric since you hit AA with Jab12. But I'll have a whole video out on this shortly :)

What characters would those dthrow jabs be considered the better route? Floaty is a general idea but are there specific set characters that we want to try this instead? I guess rage can kill some air hit ewgf too so many variables can change the plans. Just shows how much more we can go with this character with the fact that a lot of us settle with what we have already instead of expanding very specific confirms like these

yeah Kazuya still has more stuff lol! Still have a lot more to try with d-throw CDC Jab. What I was trying to show so far was it a can help maneuver around platforms to avoid that mixup later in the combo (Sora). Then with rage and even just against certain chars you might not be able to route back to a grounded electric/drag down nair etc. (Tried to show with Peach, but the normal BNB at these percents should work. I just wanted to show that it can be a true 4 hit combo hitstun wise then combo into the Electric) Against Cloud I just wanted to show that you can just go for the guaranteed edgeguard attempt instead of playing the platform, no platform mixup game. But yeah, still a lot more to lab and try.

Yo viper, im having trouble with the nair fast fall, when i hit people to the stage they always shield immediately or mashes and jab me first. Do you know what im doing wrong? Am i just too slow?

Yeah that is probably just it, unless its just really low percents (although this video show with the Sids tech it can work at 0% - 0% lol) for the more standard BNB it is probably just too slow. Crouch Jab and DGF are great to go into from the nair, but they require 1 frame of crouch so they take a little more timing. Maybe practice going into a move you can buffer first like a trip, up-tilt(1), EWGF first then try other option likes cr. Jab and DGF. The other part you have to get down well is the actual nair fastfall. Can work with a shortup, but I'd say just stick with using full hop for now. Then you'll have time when to nair fastfall. I think just after the apex of your full hop is pretty good universal timing for the most part. At higher percents/rage you will also have to delay your jump a bit. Also you can start trying the dash option select that works pretty well covering DI In/Out.

You have to fast-fall BEFORE inputting the n-air. The easiest way to do this I’ve found is to do it when your opponent is as close to the floor as possible before they get out of the EWGF stun.

I play on smash box, but some of these combos with controller like the D-throw CDC Jab are more lenient on pad as well cause you can buffer a c-stick CD from a D-throw.

Then Ferps helped popularize it and showed some other stuff and it became the Ferps tech. Here I am using a variation of the first post in the Sids tech thread where I double jump/IDJ fair to setup various situations such as being able to combo off of the Electric from 0% - 0% to a drag down nair Crouch Jab and also even reroute Greninja back to the Electric doing a fair instead. (cause you can't really combo Gren back into an electric from a nair, though you can from Electric dash Crouch Jab) Also combine with that I was playing with some platform setups from the double jump/IDJ fair that needs more labbing.

Your videos remind me of why I wanted to even learn this character in the first place, but after months of failing and turning into the new trend character turned me off from trying further. There's very few Kazuyas at the technical level of Riddles and Tea, and they're still not even going for this stuff. He has an insane technical level at his peak.
