Saving this video for my 65 ford when I will do this in a few years (please keep video uploaded 😁).

The rope that came with my genuine Precision install tool is MUCH thinner than what you used and it tore the hell out of the gasket. Damn!!!

I have a 1958 F100 with the wrap around "Big" back window. It would be great to have a video explaining how to replace the gasket that has the stainless trim inserted in it.

Would it be the same process for a '67 with the sliding panes? In from the inside?

I have a big back window in my '62. The rubber is rather hard. Are there any tricks to doing a big back window? Edit: I assume the big window needs to go in from the outside similar to the windshield, right?

No, it goes in from the inside. Please look at 4:25.

@@PrecisionReplacementParts Yes but, that's a regular small window. Mine is the wrap around big window. So, the determining factor is NOT a curved or "wrap around" but, the way the rubber is molded? I won't be doing it for a couple more months. I'm just planning ahead. Mine also has stainless trim like the windshield. Do I cut it out the way y'all did the windshield? How do I install the trim if it goes on before installing the whole unit in the truck like the windshield if the glass installs from the inside? Edit: Maybe, I should let y'all do a video on my truck. It can be a sexy model....for free work! Uh....okay, maybe not.

@@RalphSampson... Sorry misunderstood. Yes, the large rear window installs just like the windshield, from the outside.

How about for the window with sliding window ?

Process is the same, however if yours is original it most likely has a wider flange that goes into the rubber and unfortunatley nobody makes that style gasket.
