that and none of his moron men thought to figure that they're in a multi-level building and the tracking shows they're right next to you that the logical answer is to look up.
@Kwatcher1002 ай бұрын
Indeed. At no point did they consider that such an advanced species relies on infrared as its basic vision spectrum because it’s the most familiar and reliable way to see during a hunt. If they have an optical camouflage that renders them almost perfectly invisible to humans’ visible light spectrum, then clearly they know and can access light frequency ranges besides their basic one.
@Abp.Mars-Assembly2 ай бұрын
What are the odds the Predator had photon optics? Thermal optics wasnt that far off because certain animals have thermal vision and the technology was already available in advanced optics for weaponry. But photon vision? There was no proof the predator had a variety of optics. At that point you might as well assume the Predator has "color" vision, telescopic magnification, microscopic magnification, hearing amplification and spacial ultrasound vision just to be on the safe side. And to be more precise, the Predator using thermal was the only optic that can allow him to distinguish shapes the best. All the others were like extra buttons on a tv remote. Unlike being in the jungle dealing with camouflaged spec ops and guerilla fighters, thermal in the city hardly gave a Predator an edge. Which is a big flaw and surprising that despite the Predator can bend physics to space travel, they still havent come up with a color spectrum optic for personnel.
