The Xenomorph is an affective killer more in dark and tight spacese while the Predator is very affective in absolutley every envirement light and dark because of his clock. The Predator survived from an amazing firepower ( 1.40-2.43 ) I´m preatty sure a Xenomorph would not have survived that. We see in all movies that even a single man with a riffle in his dand if he shoots directly at a Xenomorph will surlly kill-it

I think wot is so unique about the Predators (apart from the fact they look soo frickin cool), is that they r Hunters, Not Soldiers with a million strong army looking to just wipe out whole civilizations (even tho they hav the ability to do that). They r totally honorable, searching the vast eons of spaces for worthy opponents to fight. I find that very Intriguing, and the most cool thing about them.

@Dakers11 the idea of avp has been since 1989 (first avp comic came out) and then the film predator 2 shows and alien skull in the trophie room and from there video games and more stories were created. i enjoyed the avp films, specially the first one :D

You say you never saw Predator die from rifle. Thats because of Predators armour ( Offers protection where the Predator needs it the most. Light and maneuverable, but is still vulnerable to heavy strikes. ) Predators also have ''Medkit or Medicomp'' ( The medkit contains enough tools and supplies to perform minor surgery and repair superficial wounds, extract bullets and shrapnel, or even cauterise a lost limb. ) Thats how famous Predator survives, without it he wouldnt stand a chance

tips to survive a pred attack: Don't use heavy weps. You have to stand still or move really slow to shoot them, that WILL kill you. Don't waste ammo destroying 2/5 parts of the jungle, he isn't there already. Free the little ones, they will help you fight the bigger ones. If a teammate dissappears, RUN. If it bleeds it MAY be killed yet you will surely perish. Meleein' a pred is buying a ticket to death. Use water, it will reveal his position when he's cloacked use C4 belts for when it gets you
