The mechanical tendrils look just like xenomorph tails. Which I think is awesome, it is something new and he looks like a leader. He looks old, but very intimidating, especially the stories he could tell. Would make even Yaujta's blood turns cold. He also earned the respect of his fellow yaujta. I would like to see him take on a super predator.

The Tendrils are mind controlled, from what I've seen in other videos his psychic powers are the most developed, along with his hunting history , skill he's rightfully the Grand Elder of Yautja Prime, If you notice the other Predator standing near him with a cape on, that's Ancient , 2nd or 3rd in rank behind Grand elder. And about those Tendrils being controlled by his mind and him having psychic abilities it's impossible to defeat him , but it also gives a glimpse into predators psychic abilities , they all have some psychic powers or rather can communicate telepathically without talking to each other using sound , they can look at each other and let others know what any predator is thinking. .but with this guy his abilities are far developed that he can mind control the tendrils AND knows what other fighters may attempt to do so fighting him would be futile for pretty much anyone with brain waves he can read lol

On point! He is also several thousands years old. He is in really good shape too(I have the figure he is as larger than scarface and very cut). Nightstorm super predator started his own clan because he didn't want to challenge the Supreme leader. I think without a doubt the Supreme leader could defeat the new super predator in the upcoming film. He himself is yautja prime lol.

If you compare Yautja society to an Imperialistic one, the Ancients would be like Dukes (still very high ranking with a great deal of authority, but not the highest). The Clan Leader/Grand Elder is the King, essentially.

Miyamoto Shun Masaki The predator with red cape is Ancient, he's 2nd or 3rd highest rank behind the Grand Elder with the Mind controlled tendrils. BTW that ship Ancient was on at end of AvP, handing Lex a spear, that ship was HUGE with over 20 predators coming out to watch him and as 4 more carried Scars body to a nearby scout ship. That scout ship only had 3 preds on it and PredAlien killed all 3 , that's when Ancient signal called Wolf and we got BAD ASS ELITE WOLF AKA XENO ASSASSIN. WOLF killed like 5-7 xenos that movie with relative ease , the whip was dope killing one at the end , he ripped a xenos body in half then stomped on his head ...then right after he fought PredAlien killing him as well.
