Hey, I saw a cool self feeder and thought of you. You take a four inch pvc pipe with an elbow at one end (bottom) and leave that end open, fill it with chicken feed at the top end with a lid, and attach it to the wall vertically. I hope that makes sense. Those piggies are the cutest! I have some beautiful coyote boots. Maybe you could have some made for Darling?

Well I can’t put him in with the other rabbits cause he’ll fight with the buck or he’ll mate too much with the does. I’ve been trying to find a good home for him so hadn’t named him. Nobody wants bucks though, he’s uncle rabbit for now.

Is it worth a bigger doorway for the meat birds? Might remove or lessen the temptation for the predators. I know, it's a pain, but probably not quite as much as losing stock you already fed quite a bit. I'm no expert, it might be it's too late for all I can know or guess. Good call on the cementing, it'll take less drying time between mixes with heat and yet not be too drying given the humidity. Feels like good timing. Again I'm not any sort of expert. Be well. 😉
@HiddenSpringFarm

The meat chickens days are numbered anyway and I’m not concerned about a coyote breaking into the coop, it’s solid. But with the cement I’m almost at the point that I’ll need to use a mortar bag to really get it into the crevices.

I'll tell you how to tell your chickens in your roosters apart when they're little. What you do is get a bunch of little colored zip ties. When they're little as soon as you notice if they have tail feathers or no tail feathers pull their wing apart, look at the Leading Edge of the wing all the way from the body to the tip of the wing. When you look at the wing if the wing is all one length and all the primary feathers are the same length from the body to the tip of the wing it is a hen. If the internal flight feathers from the body to halfway to the wing or shorter than the rest of the wing feathers it is a rooster. You can also tell by looking at the legs. There is a nub on the rooster where there will be a Spur. Hens do not have that feature. If you have any chickens that hatch that has five toes on both feet it's the original lineage of land chicken from the first species of chicken. It's the original genetics of chicken😮😮😮😮 hens will get their tail feathers first when they're little as well within the first 12 days to 14 days the hens will have tail feathers roosters don't get them until later on and development. I hope this helps. Sorry about all my punctuation I'm using voice to text I got my hands full doing my chores this morning while watching this

You need to sit out there at night a little ways away from your chicken coop about where your camera is with a rifle get rid of that coyote take the head out on the edge of your property with some of the internals and stick it on the stick and leave it off the ground about 4 ft that way they'll smell it they'll stay away from your property. Once you kill a coyote on your property and you leave part of it on your property no other coyotes will pass through that way they're very smart. They're just like wolves

If I were you sir, I would be taking and figuring out a way to have a place to keep that cool and dry for storage. There's a reason behind why everyone's having so much abundance right now, it's meant for everybody to start stockpiling and storing up. They've been spraying beneficial chemicals putting nutrients and minerals back into our environment that have been taken out by the poisons and toxins being sprayed on us all these years. This is for everybody to start stockpiling their goodies because it's going to come a time in the next few months we're not going to be able to go to a grocery store we're not going to be able to do nothing we need to stockpile as much food and supplies to help each other and our friends and neighbors as possible if they weren't smart enough to start stockpiling they've been giving us two years to stockpile. If people haven't figured it out there on their own it's not our job to save everyone. This is a way to thin out the herd. Understand the great reset is happening whether people like it or not and it's going to be a depression like no one has ever seen before and it's going to be a year and it's going to be hard because people have been taken away from the old ways and don't know the old ways and a lot of people are going to die. Not trying to say it to sound mean but it's a fact that is coming to fruition and our governments of the world are making it happen they're thinning out the population so there's less people that got to worry about having control over😢😢😢 it's a sad but true fact and a sad but true statement. One of which I never would have had to think I would make out of my mouth ever in my life. I love you man start stockpiling start saving bushels of those apples for your animals. If you got enough time go ahead and throw another batch of corn even if it's immature when you harvest it they can still leave the cob...

@@sharonroconnellandcritters yes man not to be disrespectful to the spirit of the animal because I always respect the animals spirit. I was raised as a Native American off-and-on on the reservation as a kid with my family. And I was taught the ways of the people and try and live in balance and Harmony and we provided stuff for the coyotes not to attack our animals and they still went after our animals and have been picking them off so I had no choice. I even trade on it. And I cried afterwards. A lot of people don't know that true people in Balance they just are the way they are for a reason. For the longest time I couldn't understand why I know the land and steal the land and I can listen to it. It talks to me I listen to the mother I feel her heartbeat when I Barefoot ground and Son charged I get massive amounts of downloads and it floods me with pictures and memories and stuff from everybody not just for myself but from all over I'm empathic and I feel energy changes and the shift 2 weeks before it happens and I tell people when things are coming but no one listens so I just stay to myself out here in the country, try to take care of my animals and just mind my own it's better that way people don't want to listen to someone who is a recovering addict who's been clean for 15 years and used to live a hard life in the past. I try to tell people this is trial by fire where in hell and how you walk up out of that place is depending on where you go to the your next phase of your existence.
