Silvestri’s soundtrack is absolutly Fantastic!! Just as “Van Helsing”, Silvestri, it takes the movie to a higher level. If you are able to remember the soundtrack’s tunes just after seeing the movie, definitly you have a music masterpiece there. LOVE IT! Goodbye Bro’…!!!

A great film raised to perfection with the soundtrack Always thought the triplets on drums to represent the Indian/jungle aspect and the time signiture change as you can see through the perspective of the predator was genius Pure class

Schwarzenegger moves at ease in this comic book dimension, also showing off his irony. Oscar nomination for best visual effects. Kevin Peter Hall plays, in addition to the alien, also the helicopter pilot in the final scene. The same actor will reprise his role as the Predator in the sequel. Jean-Claude Van Damme was initially cast as the alien, but dropped out after a few days because he was wearing a costume and his face would never appear. Furthermore, the alien originally conceived did not convince the director because it was funny and the stuntman's interpretation inside the costume was not convincing. The task of creating a new alien then passed to Stan Winston, who had already created the cyborg in "Terminator". He, while flying with James Cameron, showed the drafts of the alien to the latter who suggested adding protruding jaws, an idea that was actually put into action. Finally, Kevin Peter Hall was hired to play the alien, since he had already acted in "Harry And The Hendersons" proving that he could move inside a costume. The result was excellent, so much so that the creature later became the protagonist of numerous spin-offs such as comics and video games, as well as the aforementioned sequels. The camouflage effect was achieved by superimposing the real jungle landscape onto the red suit used during filming, but at a 30% magnification, allowing the viewer to clearly distinguish the creature's outlines against the jungle. Three of the "Predator" cast ran for governor: Arnold Schwarzenegger became governor of California and Jesse Ventura became governor of Minnesota, while Sonny Landham ran for governor of Kentucky but failed to win. Carl Weathers used the opportunity to make a comedic joke, in which he ran for governor simply because he was "the black guy in Predator." 20th Century Fox has a lot of ideas in the works for the saga. In 2025 "Predator: Badlands" will hit theaters.💥🙂
