"The Predator"tries to undo years of mythology from comics, games and film and makes a stupid mess that is extremely gross(seriously, PTSD people and people with autism are treated so shit-ily in this.) It reminds me of how Ridley Scott decided all the aliens we know from his original film were made by an android with a god complex. However, his crime is more egregious because he actually created the first "Alien"film. I am SO GLAD that you feel the same way about The Predator as I did. This was an absolute shit stain of a movie. The characters were awful and flatly-written. The humor was amateurish and dragged out way too long, with the humor coming up every five minutes not helping at all. The story was complete rubbish, and it didn't help that the pacing was all over the place.

KJ Beast agreed, I grew up watching the original teen titans show on Cartoon Network and after teen titans go I wanted the original back, I was so hyped for the show when I heard, after seeing the trailers and teasers I got a few doubts but still kept my head up, then after season 1 I hated it, such a disappointment and waste of time, it has a higher budget than the cwshows and has worse special effects, has no character development, characters have no connection to each other, and is visually one of the ugliest shows ever, such a disappointment and waste of time, it’s not only the worst DC show but the worst superhero shows ever, worse than dc legends of tomorrow and iron fist

Fun fact, the script of 2018? The predator script was leaked so the writer had to rewrite the script quickly. in my honest opinion the writer shouldn't have done that he should just released the movie without rescripting it.

Predators was an interesting idea that used several elements from the previous two films with some unique ideas that were from the comics. The Predator diverged way too far from what the previous films as well as ignoring whatever other works involving the Predator. The way the predator lore was handled was a disservice to everything the Predator franchise did. The result is a MCU film without any of the good parts, just jokes and violence. EDIT: Well, at least the soundtracks for both films are great to decent.

I'm late to the party watching this abomination of a movie but it felt like it wanted to be a MCU movie with the pacing and fight choreography. And the director+writer (co-writer?) was one of the soldiers in the original Predator. It's baffling how somebody so involved in the iconic original movie could miss the mark so hard, but I guess 30 years is a lot of time to forget it. At least Predators knows what it is, even if it didn't bring anything new to the table. If the original Predator was a pizza (with your favorite toppings), Predators was the same pizza but from a dominoes in the hood. The Predator, on the other hand, would be like if you had a 5 year old make you a pizza however they wanted. Hell, it might not even come on sourdough, you know that kid put sauce on a leftover corn tortilla instead.

I followed the countdown for a year of The predator via the official site with each update becoming more disappointing . What a waste of time when it came out . It failed on all levels . The only half decent part was the unconscious predator waking up and escaping. The soundtrack ? I don't recall any homages or a whiff of Alan silvestri theme . Terrible cast
