@JoeLandrigan at baptism, Jesus was anointed a priest. He was fulfilling the law for priests, except his anointing was with the Holy Spirit, not oil as he is a priest in order of Melchizedech. King of peace and priest of the most high God.. You too became a priest when you got baptised.
