Thanks a lot for sharing this trick and for the good teaching of the technic. I have an idea, from daortiz inspiration to do it impromptu. Let's get into it! Make a card named and cull it, using the deaf technic. Or make a fan force if you know how to do it and put the card on top. The card is know a thinking card. Do what Sean teached you. Revelation : "you think of a card, we stopped randomly at a card. What is your card?" Or "you named a card before, what was it ? The nine of clubs? No the 8 of clubs? Are you sure?" Have a nice day and a nice magic practice.

i found an alternative for bottom deal bcs it bottom deal doesn't make any sound while there is noticible sound when we peel the top card. so the alternative is to get a break above the bottom card and after you have counted the total number of cards in the last pile, just drop the bottom card on top while giving some cover. easy pizy.

Several times I've drawn a very low card 2 or 3 for the third pile which makes the final pile count seem somewhat thin. Any suggestions?

Maybe if the value is too low, just do a fourth pile 😎

Thanx for your feedback Sean. In place of using a different colored card for the prediction at the end, I opted to use the standard printed Bicycle card on the box itself!
