based off pre season i don’t think bajcetic will play too much this season, ive been shocked with how little he’s played to be honest. He’s come off the bench a couple times that’s it and when he has he hasn’t played as a 6 he’s been more of an 8 inbetween another player in the 6 and elliott or szoboszlai in an advanced role, he played ahead of endo one game and ahead of morton the other. Talent wise i think he will breakthrough in the next couple years but it won’t be like he starts the first game then establish’s himself, especially since we turned down an offer for endo and are getting a 6 in he’ll be third choice 6 and like sixth choice 8. We’ve also been talking about loaning him out since he won’t get much game time which i’d like tbh if we keep endo and get a 6 in

I don’t think they fully comprehend what a break-through can be. Just because you’ve made 50 prem appearances doesn’t mean you’ve had a break-through season 🤷🏻‍♂️ A player suddenly turning up the levels, becoming a starter, maybe breaking into the international fold and being more pivotal and impactful for your club can be breaking through. Your first season in the prem doesn’t mean you’ve broken through does it. There’s been plenty of run of the mill prem players who haven’t necessarily broken through

It's a tough one but I wouldn't call Oscar Bobb's season last season his breakthrough season. He featured but didn't fully breakthrough into a squad and nail down a position like Mainoo, Palmer etc
