OMG THANK YOU!!!! I feel so dumb but your method of teaching this is so good. My teacher just sits there thinking that everyone should know this at first glance and if we ask questions he would make fun of us.
@melissamaribel6 жыл бұрын
You are not dumb! You just needed someone to explain it differently or well explain it in general! I'm sorry you have to deal with a teacher that doesn't love what they do and want to inspire you rather than make fun. (I've had my fair share of those professors) but keep going you are NOT dumb you are capable!

I thought we have to write the outer elements first then the inner elements right? Does it matter which order it goes?
@subhasmitabhanja47803 жыл бұрын
Whatever you say is written in my book and I understand it well but the catch is,How can I remember the valency of substance outside of first 20 element??
@gracetaveo27335 жыл бұрын
I have one question, does it matter what order the products are in? Our teacher wasn’t here today and so he had us do sheets of these and the sub gave us an answer sheet at the end. Some of the answers have it where the “inner” (he calls them BC) are first, and sometimes he uses outer (AD) ones first. All of my products/balancing were correct, but some were in flipped order. I’m just wondering which is the real right way because I can’t find a direct answer on the internet. Thank you if you see this!
@melissamaribel5 жыл бұрын
The order of the products does not matter, as long as the products are correct that's fine. For example for this first question in this video the products could have been written as CaSO4 + AlPO4 or AlPO4 + CaSO4 either way is correct.

Hi Melissa, you missed something important in this video. For double-displacement reactions, both reactants must be soluble and at least one of the products must be soluble... otherwise, there is no reaction.
@melissamaribel6 жыл бұрын
Funny you should mention that, I was considering writing a video on double displacement reactions that have no reaction, this video was for the majority of cases that I have seen on exams over the years. Thanks for the reminder Sara 😊
