I think 11-12 wins is eminently possible . The roster on paper for some reason almost seems underrated. They probably have top 5 edge secondary and skill positions. Doubt any other team can say the same. Just a lot of this comes down to staying healthy and the OL specifically staying healthy too. If Armstead plays 14 games there probably a top 6 team in football they just have to be a bit lucky and produce there best football down the stretch to get wins in the playoffs. Simply put if the team stays healthy they are a top 4 team in the AFC just based on upside. Talent and coaching.

If DE Jalen Phillips and Chubb come back and can play all season at 100%, and if our all pro LT can stay on the field I like our chances against any team in the league. Phillips was looking like HOFer Jason Taylor last year before he tore his Achilles, with him off the field our defense just could not compete against the top teams and our top 3 OL were injured.

Winning late is still a concern, but they gave up some expensive pieces to allow them to invest in the depth the team has desperately needed. But even if they don't sort out their late season woes, and stumble down the stretch again, 10 wins is still a pretty comfortable prediction. So I like the over here.

Mike McDaniel needs a plan for winning late in the season. Develop an offense or at least have some answers for games in harsh climates. This team was so scared to run in short yardage. Maybe it was the injured offensive line or their big-back Chris Brooks was hurt. I don't care, start developing the backup plan yesterday. No team can win a playoff game when they are scared.

Miami’s defense wasn’t the problem in that KC playoff game. They started to fail late in the game but at that point, they were gassed bc the OFFENSE was doing NOTHING. You Gus must not have watched the game. Tua sucked and couldn’t get the offense going. Injuries wasn’t a big factor as some suggest

Does nobody ever learn that there isn’t a difference in one game to the next? The only time one game matters more is after the season has ended and the post season has begun. All regular season games are worth the exact same. It doesn’t matter who the game is against. All games weigh the same amount on the W-L record.

Division matchups, tie-breaker games for seeding. They objectively matter more.

@@cj7139 if you would’ve won the other games before then that you’ve lost, those games wouldn’t exist. They objectively don’t actually matter more. Division games only excuse for meaning more, is solely because there are two games against each team, every year, and there are 6 of those games. But, none of them change your W-L record more than any other game does. Each game is either 1 W or, 1 L. If you win the games you could have won, tie breakers don’t exist. If you start the season with 6 straight losses, and win 11 straight to finish the season, then end up as any of the wild card teams, because you were second in your division, what difference did it make by finishing perfectly in your division games and winning 11 straight? The “meaningless” or “less meaningful” games you lost in September and October are the games you fumbled. But they weren’t division games and they would’ve gotten you ahead of the division winner if you would’ve won 1 or 2 of them. You couldn’t win anymore at the back end of the season, so those games weren’t any more meaningful than the games you lost. The ones you lost early carried the same weight as the games you lost late and, the ones you won early were just the same as the ones you won late. They are the same.

@@HawgWyldFishing As far as "early and late", yes the games hold the same weight. However, division games are clearly more meaningful. Let's say Miami, loses to Denver last year instead, then win in Buffalo week 4 (resulting in a 1-1 record). Let's also say Buffalo beats Denver on the Monday night in early November (resulting in a 1-1 record). Both Miami and Buffalo, in reality did go 1-1 in these two matchups. However, the division record and head to head tie-breaker meant that Week 18 mattered. In the scenario laid out in my first paragraph, Miami would've already had the division wrapped up before Week 18, despite "only" having a 1-game lead in the standings.

@@cj7139 and if they hadn’t lost the titans game, the chiefs game, or any of the other games they lost, it wouldn’t have mattered either way. The only reason any game ends up mattering more, is because of the games you didn’t win before then. Which makes those games you lost, just as, if not more important than the next game. Because they all count the same.

@@javiertellez3376 why are you putting afc east teams as if we dont see them twice a year lol and the bills are significantly worst. schedule is pretty much the same as last year. but before last season started we had the second hardest strength of schedule. this schedule is much easier over the first 9 weeks.possible 7 and 2 start. weather and home ground advantage will dictate the end of season. i say minimum 10 and possible 12. depends on health

The pass rushers werent why we lost embarrassingly to KC. It's because weak armed Tua can't play or win in the cold to the tune of 0-6 in the coldest games hes played in.
