It's definitely gonna be the Blackest Night story with the Black Lanterns, not this Corps war that he's taking about. The Black Lanterns is how you bring back dead characters: Joker, Beast Boy, Shazam etc. They're gonna be the Injustice version of MK's revenants.

My only issue with the new move sets would be at the end of the story the black lanterns all come back to life and therefore would no longer have access to a lantern ring so idk how they'd make it work

Considering he played a pretty major role in the injustice movie and he's going to be in the new live action Superman movie, there is no way we don't see Mr. Terrific. Plus he was in the watchtower in the first game and most characters in the background of stages end up making it onto future rosters (Atom, Martian Manhunter, Grodd etc )

If the next game is going to keep the comic tie-ins as part of the overall canon, then unfortunately Thaal Sinestro would not be a returning figure since he died during the Red Lantern invasion of Oa by the hand of a Starro controlled Soranik (whom Thaal just freed from the Starro spore right before he bled out). Though since Soranik became a Yellow Lantern in the mainline comic timeline, perhaps the same could end up happening in the Injustice universe, but as a way for Sora to “honour” her father’s self-sacrifice by taking over the Sinestro Corps & “redeeming” it to a force for good.

Power Rangers are a given, especially after that crossover they had with the Justice League in the comics. Question is how would they do them, add all 6 or 4 of the 6 ( Green/White, Red, Black, Blue, Pink, Yellow ) and you chose one based on their weapon just like the TMNT in Injustice 2 or just put White/Green Ranger alone. I would love it to be based on Blackest Night. Imagine the possibilities, the many dead Injustice characters that they can bring back, the possible lanterns. Maybe we can give it a horror theme if so. As for the new characters to name a few; Constantine, Booster Gold, Rorschach/Question, Etrigan, Beast Boy, Grayson's version of Dead Man, Grail, Clayface, and King Shark. I would like Raven, Lobo, Black Canary, Swamp Thing and Grundy back. Lets have some underrated characters in there like Talia Al Ghul, Bleez, or Killer Moth. Maybe Nekron as the playable boss character. WB loves to add in characters that are/will be popular by the films, so that's something to keep in mind.

The way I see it injustice 3 should take place like 30 years in the future so instead of a Batman we get terry and some newer heroes like from young justice. They could take some of the moves from older heroes who will now probably be dead and give them to the new character because most of these new characters are just younger version of the older ones. The main plot would be them trying to take down an escaped Superman from the fanton zone with some sort of multiverse threat on the side

A good storyline involving Bringing old characters back as well introducing new ones could be flashpoint. You could literally have Berry of the injustice universe, seeing the aftermath of everything, involving Superman and brainiac and deciding to use his powers to change the timeline after a bit of convincing.

Honestly I think talking about the potential plots they could do would be much more interesting than talking about potential characters. Darkest night could be interesting, bringing back a lot of the people Superman killed while also involving the other lantern corps. Your generic darkseid invasion could be nice but it's very similar to The brainiac plot. A version of flashpoint where flash tries to save Louis from joker only to make things worse somehow could be very interesting. Maybe do something with the dark multiverse, you can have an alternate version of the Batman who laughs where he's the one who snapped and became a crazy fascist dictator. You could base it heavily on zero hour where instead of Superboy prime going crazy and messing up the multiverse it is fascist dictator Superman. Maybe include elements of All-Star Superman, where after they pull them out of The phantom zone they find out that exposure to it gives him just enough time to stop insert crisis here to live. Could evening include elements from Tower of Babel, turn Batman's new Justice League against him. Honestly there's just so many options

3:45 I don't think Zod can come back without a working head or heart! 5:13 Didn't Sinestro suffocate in space along with Booster Gold 6:30 Brand was replaced as Deadman by Richard Grayson, so I don't think Brand would be there but we could see a Nightwing return with a revamped moveset. 7:48 Superboy could only appear if Wonder Girl and some members of the Legion of Superheroes. Also the Injustice version of Superboy is capable of flight and heat vision, he's basically a weaker version of Superman that has the same powers, I could see him and Cassie Sandsmark making it into the game if they are skins of their former teachers. 8:22 Gar is dead along with Bart Allen and Jesse Quick, yes I know you mentioned this, but I wanted to make the comment that Starfire is the only original member of the Titans (Grayson, Raven, Cyborg, Gar, Speedy, Bart, Conner, Cassie, Tim) that is alive and in the present time. 9:29 It could be Natasha Irons, John Henry's niece, but it can't be the original as he died in the Metropolis explosion along with most of the characters I've written down. 10:16 King Shark is dead. 11:49 Miss Martian could be a great addition! She could join the Titans and she would have to adapt to living on Earth as the true last Martian (because J'onn is dead) 12:25 Ra's al Ghul is dead and can't be revived by any Lazarus Pit, he doesn't have a head. Now there is potential for Talia to be in the game and it could connect to the voice lines in Injustice 2. When you pair Scarecrow and Robin together, there is a certain voice line that Scarecrow says where he mentions that Damian couldn't save his mother. That flashback could be shown in Injustice 3 where Talia dies because we never saw her die in the comics. 13:12 Shiera was the Hawkgirl that served alongside Superman in the first game. You could have Kendra join but then Shiera would need to die.

Also Rorschach we need a Watchmen rep Also for guests Johnny Cage - We know we’re getting an MK rep it’s far last time we got fan favorite Johnny Cage for some comedy relief! Witchblade - We all know a female guest is needed from Netherealm! Sara as Witchblade would be a great pick! The Tick - Again comic relief and the Uber upstanding moral good guy code would fit great in Injustice with a brawler character like the Tick! Pink Ranger- Again female guest! She’s beloved by the fan base. You might be able to get Amy Joe Johnson for the voice. Green Ranger would have been the go to but sadly with JDF gone that’s not gonna happen. Red Ranger also unlikely given Austin Saint John issues with legal troubles and selling shirts of historical “great warriors” including certain mid 20th century European autocrats ( you can figure out who) Anyway as a second archer imagine the Pink Ranger vs Green Arrow dialogue!

I think it can work better. Injustice is darker and both now have multiverse so you would be feee to set it anywhere without disturbing any on going storylines so if you wanted you could have it be a universe where superman has only just killed joker and not gone full on dictator @@JohnDoe12345.

Maybe beast boy could be apart of it. Back in the injustice mobile days, they added deadshot to the injustice 1 mobile and his super move was the same one as injustice 2 (console)

.Doomsday could return as he is practically immortal. .The Crime Syndicate could appear if Injustice 3 is about the multiverse who teams up with Injustice Superman. .Perhaps Superboy Prime could appear if they commit to a Crisis event. . If it involves time travel we could see the Legion of Superheroes as it was hinted at by Brainiac five appearing in Injustice 2 when you used Brainiac in the arcade game mode. . A character like Talon from the Court of Owls could work as well, some sort of zombie Nightwing as he was supposedly targeted by the court when his parents died in the comics. This could work as a plot point for some alliance between Batman and Robin as Nightwing’s death is what caused the two to fall out. We never saw the two properly interact in Injustice 2’s storyline and it would be nice for Bruce and Damien to work together again to try and save/revive Nightwing.

I really hate how everyone wants to put Mary in the game and just have her play like Billy and give her some basic revenge storyline. If that's the best people can come up with for her, it makes way more sense to put in Billy because he's the more popular one of the two. And since Injustice 3 is going to involve the multiverse, you can bring anyone back and it makes perfect sense. Hell, you could even have injustice Billy be resurrected by the Wizard's magic. He could even have a chapter that addresses how often he dies in events like this. Shazam is one of the many characters who'd benefit from the intro dialogue system of Injustice 2, showcasing his jovial personality amongst the Insurgency and genuine disappointment in the regime. His mirror match intros could be the best in the game and reference his various codenames over the years.

An obscure want I'd like to see is Onomatopoeia. He attacks by making sound effects real (Boom turns into an explosion for example) and I think he'd be such a unique character for how obscure he is. In terms of returning characters, Lobo is a definite because he's too badass and would have moveset potential, Killer Frost because she was mad underrated for how unique she played and Doomsday because he was an absolute tank and the game just needed more heavy hitters

Zod was sent to the phantom zone and Kalibak was murdered. So Zod was sent to the phantom zone by Batman after Zod killed Tim drake. After batman freed the new teen titans from the phantom zone. And if they go with batman's injustice 2 ending then supes will have been sent to the phantom zone. So just imagine Zod and Superman teaming up. As at the end of injustice 2 Superman actually started to support Zod. And meanwhile Darkseid due to his hate towards superman could become the big villain. That's also the reason why Connor wasn't in the previous 2 games. Superman distabelised Connor's heart forcing the titans into the phantom zone to keep him alive. And then he got heart surgery preformed on him so for a while he wasn't allowed to fight. Also Beast Boy was blown up in the explosion of metropolis alongside Wally. As they both died next to superboy who survived. But then again Starfire died during the explosion and John Stewart got killed by Sinestro who framed Guy causing Hal to kill Guy and become a yellow lantern. And Scarecrow was killed by joker before metropolis exploded. But they retconned all of their deaths by having Starfire as a DLC. John as a premier skin and Scarecrow as a story character. Dick Grayson as deadwing would also be a cool addition. After nightwing got Deadman's powers. Also i think Damian will return because he was in the previous 2 and because of his personal conection to bruce and clark.

Starfire didn’t die in Metropolis though. It was only Beast Boy and Bart Allen. You literally never see her die. She gets trapped in the phantom zone and gets set free by Batman so she’s still alive and her inclusion as DLC was not “retconned” or random at all. You mentioned Superman sending Superboy and the Titans into the phantom zone which included Starfire so i’m confused on why you thought she was dead?

Okay. First of all, cool video. Some of your choices are great. Although, i'm an a-hole and i can't with myself: ***** SPOILERS: LONG TEXT ***** * According to rumours, the plot of "Injustice 3" (Before Warner made a "Warner" and forced NRS to develop a new MK) was an invasion from the Injustice 2 ending where Superman win to the Parallel Earth that helped the Resistance in the first game but, again, all that is rumours. * Having Atrocitus and Sinestro is like having Zod and Supergirl: Too many same-type of characters at the same time. * Cassandra Cain, Mary Marvel (Who can be called "SHAZAM"), Carol Ferris and Mera are great options, which could add A LOT to the gameplay. * Conner Kent in not a brawler (I think only the Young Justice version is). He's Superman but with tactile telekinesis. * Beast Boy is a great add to replace Cheeta/Vinex from Injustice 2. Animal Man is also a good option. * John Constantine is a NO. The thing about John is how good he is to win fight without throwing a punch. In that case, it would be better bring back Zatanna or Raven (Although, Raven could replace Dr.Fate). * Tim Drake as Robin could be a good addition. * King Shark to replace Bane is a great idea. Shark is "trending" and Bane is burned-out by now. * I'm not even gonna talk about how impossible is to make Boston Brand a playable character. * If Peacemaker is in the game, forget about Deathstroke and Deadshot. He's the "Gun Guy". Although, John Cena would come back? * Techinically, there is a version of Reverse Flash called ZOOM (Hunter Zolomon) which power isn't run faster but slow time. New gameplay? * Mr.Miracle is a good idea, but where is Big Momma Big Barda? If you want more villains: Some of those could be: Icicle (JSA Villain and a replace for Killer Frost/Captain Cold), Eclipso, Giganta, Man-Bat, Talon, Copperhead, Circe, Vandal Savage, Ocean Master, Any of the Fatal Five, Anyone from Earth-3, Goddamn Superboy-Prime. Now, if you want a multiversal plot to bring all kind of flavours to the game, they should do "Zero Hour". The event where Parallax (Hal Jordan) tried to merge all the timeline into one, in an attemp to make a perfect all-good Earth. The Undertaker and Kane would be great for Injustice. Nether realm have already produced a WWE game and I can’t see any issues for WWE lending their trademarks. Gameplay wise, two powerhouses who can use fire, lightning, blackouts, zombie powers, teleportation and then you add in their wrestling moves such as the iconic Tombstone and Chokeslam as grapples then big boots, clotheslines and dives as potential strikes. There is a lot to work with here and opportunity for alternate skins/attires. I imagine there’d be a fairly big market for this and great support for it from fans as they’ve been two of the biggest wrestling stars of the last 30 years.

Also fun fact from the comics, Boston Brand was killed but Dick Grayson took over as Deadman, so he'd still be a pretty cool character to have as a part of the continuity.
