Tennessee dominated Vandy defensively. Vandy scored on a kickoff and a short field after a fumble. They did very little outside of that. 19 points it not a lot to give up. Holding teams under 20 is a good effort. Teams will usually win most games with that kind of effort. And Georgia with Beck is one of the best teams in CFB. That's like saying Ohio State doesn't have a good defense because Oregon put up 30.

Tennessee has wins over Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt. All of those teams have ranked wins. Ohio State beat 1 team with a ranked win, because most of the Big 10 is trash. It is what it is. Am I supposed to be impressed with a win over Indiana, who played historically one of the worst conference schedules of all time? You see why this “conference record” made up selective stat matters little to me? Ohio State and Tennessee have almost the same strength of schedule rank. Most of their opponents ranked pretty similarly offensively and defensively. Tennessee didn’t pad stats any more than Ohio State did. Ohio State did play 2 top teams in their conference and beat 1 of them. Tennessee didn’t play as many top SEC teams, but beat Alabama, and most of the teams they played were a lot better than the bottom feeder Big 10 teams Ohio State played. I don’t know if Tennessee will win, but arrogant fans like you completely dismissing Tennessee need to be put in their place.

I have heard so many people say if Ohio State makes that kick, they are playing for a national championship. But, if Georgia made the two kicks they missed, then Ohio State would have had to score a touchdown and a two point conversion. There were a lot of points in that game where momentum swapped back-and-forth. Georgia, having been tested the year before and been in this position so many times, took the momentum and ran with it in the fourth quarter.

It’s not an upset IMO. It’s all about matchups and my Buckeyes don’t matchup well with UT. They can beat the Vols, but overcoming Ryan Day is a big lift for the Bucks offense, and the Vols have a great defense.

The Vols have basically had training wheels on Nico all season. Even in games where I felt they could have let him go more like the Arkansas game. They played that game not to lose rather then to win. Will I have to wait till next year to see what Nico can really do or is this all he can do and he is dramatically overpaid. We will see.
