Does showing chunk border have the same effect as showing hitbox, for the spike wiggle thingy

if you're hovering blocks, chunk borders don't affect the spike

It's not really a "comprehensive guide" if you don't explain what preemptive means and what it does. "Preemptive" is an adjective, it means nothing to me in the context of minecraft.
