I saw this game and wanted it awhile back but it wasn’t available then. Last Mother’s Day my son surprised me with it. Really fun game! I got Upstairs Downstairs for my birthday! Even MORE fun! My son is quite the gamer so he usually wins but I am improving each game and give him a run for his money! Our most recent game, we both had the highest scores ever and the most money at the end of the game. Thanks for making such a delightful game!

We have now played 20 games of 2E - and are about to add UD into the mix. In my opinion it has now the best game in our collection (which is not small) and will one day overtake Wingspan as our most played (that’s 200 games - so won’t be soon) and Puerto Rico too. The design is elegant, the mechanics simple and the layers of strategy monumental. Plus it looks beautiful on the table. Well done Dan

Dan!! Tonight was the third time I played through my gorgeous new copy and it finally clicked and I love it SO so So much! Such a fun game, I had a great time giggling about the admirer’s bonus when I sent Lady Eleanor our for afternoon tea with Charles Fairchild and all my high reputation events later in the game... it’s all so high quality and wonderful AND I love love love my tiny theme and VP cards lol. You've managed to use her twice and are behind in reputation. Unlikely to be able to comfortably use her again.

Note: I do a lot of editing and sometimes explanations get edited out. I banked the £500 for York at the end of Season 2 to take advantage of a double turn and get the Manor Gargoyle monument.

QUESTION: at 32:10 into the video how were you able to pull the footman from the servants quarters? Did I miss something??

I am very smooth at cheating. Ahhh! I missed this. I think I thought I had the Servants' Quarters. Good catch. I also might have planned to use a Special Action. This is why I am a bad player when filming; walking and chewing gum is not my strength.

I ordered Obsession 2nd Edition, Wessex 2nd Edition Expansion, Upstairs, Downstairs Expansion, Obsession Useful Box, and the Promotional Tiles Expansion. All should be delivered by end of 2021. In the meantime I watch all Obsession videos which I can find on KZbin. I highly appreciate your videos and I like the way how you explain what you do and why. I'm also happy that you mentioned the Nanty Narking coins because I own the game and the coin set which I can use then for two games.

The others are actual pence and, for the GOLD, replica sovereigns. It was a creation of a backer who wanted to thank me. Not a commercial product. I might recommend the Viticulture coins, which I used for years with Obsession (much meatier).

Question: could you give me a page reference for the actions that take place at the end of each season (discard objective card and rotate player marker)? I can't seem to find it in the glossary and rule book. (I, too, have glasses and hearing aids!)
