The video shows axial flows of fluid - starting at the impeller (pump) going to the turbine and then -back through the middle of the converter - to the pump. This is in contradiction to the commentary which says the fluid flows radially outwards in the impeller (pump) - due to centrifugal forces- and radially inwards in the turbine. The fluid cannot pass radially inwards to the centre of the turbine because centrifugal forces will fling it outwards not inwards. The fluid cannot pass radially outwards through the turbine because of the proximity of the outer edges of the turbine blades to the converter's casing. The fluid cannot pass axially through the turbine because , again, of the proximity of the blades to the casing. So the fluid cannot circulate within the converter. For sake of argument lets assume the converter WAS constructed in such a way to allow circulation of the fluid. The performance curves for axial and radial flow turbines show their efficiency varies enormously over the speed range (revs per min) They would be useless at efficiently transmitting the engine power over the speed range of the engine. The torque converter is little more than a glorified fluid stirrer. If i'm right this might leave you with a few awkward questions.

The animation is almost perfect, but the commentary contains several errors and misconceptions. E.g. hammer spur: that’s not the whole hammer, just the control part of it. Another one: the barrel doesn’t move backwards and down to make it easier to load a round into the _chamber_ (which term is crucial and was completely omitted). The short backward motion and tilting is done in order to unlock the breech (observe how the locking lugs interact with the recesses in the slide). And it’s “barrel bushing”, not “bearing”… Kudos for the visualization-but the explanation could have been substantially better.
