Especially as a Christian! Christians are told for so long “don’t have sex” “sex is bad” blah blah blah and I think a lot of Christians or anyone who waits until marriage gets a skewed view of sex. And then it’s even more difficult to talk about.

I always hated when I heard “don’t get stressed, it’s bad for the baby!” When in reality, every woman has stress and worries during pregnancy. Just allow those thoughts to pass through you! It’s holding onto them that allows the negativity to fester. Just think, one year from now you’ll be in the home of your dreams cuddling your sweet baby. 🥰

When you begin to feel a Charlie horse coming on, immediately FLEX your foot up. Act like you’re pointing all the way up at the sky with your toes and hold it tight. It will tighten your muscles and it won’t let that sharp pain come into your leg.... My mom taught me this. It works every time

I had an unmediated birth in December and it was so EMPOWERING! My entire pregnancy I prayed so much about my birth and read as much as I could about labor/birth. I recently had a baby boy (11 weeks ago) and the best piece of advice I would give to any mom to be going into labor is to relax. Relaxing is hard but I read somewhere that fear slows everything down and it is so true. God will be with you in that room and whatever happens, happens. Just take huge, deep breaths and mentally prepare yourself when you feel a contraction. It’s easier said than done but it’s true. I remember tensing up so much with the first contractions and I relaxed my body and let the contractions course through me and I ended up dilating from a 1 to a 10 in like 2 hours and pushed for 5 minutes (this is my first baby). Good luck girl, you will get through it!!

My best tips for an unmedicated and natural birth: 1) Stay calm during the contractions. I closed my eyes, tilted my head to the right side, and counted until it was over. You’ll figure out what works for you! 2) Don’t request anything during a contraction and tell your nurses you don’t want to be asked if you want something during a contraction. Request pain meds and epidural when you’re not having a contraction and have a clear mind and not at your weakest point. You can do it!

Prepare for how to recognize what stage of labor you’re in, bc otherwise you could start panicking during transition if you don’t realize you’re actually at the very end. It's sooooo crazy to think of the pain you guys were both in this time last year and the immense happiness you guys are in now. I am a billion percent certain that he has the best plan for your home situation and that everything will work out better than either of you could dream, but I will keep sending prayers for you guys to have some comfort. Also I know that it's your body and everyone is going to think about their body in their own way no matter what anyone tells them, but I think you gaining a little weight in your face especially is soooo cute on you. When you lost all the weight after the accident I was so worried about you and not being able to eat or being too sad to have any type of appetite. I used to get Charlie horses every morning growing up when I stretched my legs!! It’s the worst I’m so sorry! One thing I found that helped is if you start to stretch and feel it coming on, instantly flex your foot back instead of pointing. It would curb the pain by a mile and oftentimes make it go away completely. So excited you’re in the 3rd trimester!! 💕

Kristin, I love watching your videos! You are so transparent and vulnerable! I pray that the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly and that you get settled into a house before your baby boy comes. God is good and He knows exactly what you need and the perfect timing of when it is coming. May the Peace of Christ be upon you and Marcus and your family ❤️
