I don't get tired of watching the scanning videos. I watch your videos as well as the other sheep (and cow) videos because I like learning about the work that goes into taking care of the animals by people who are truly committed to their health and well being. I don't just enjoy the humor, although it is always welcome...I think it's important to talk about the hardships and the frustrations as well. Thank you for all you do!

I am 46- a girl and learned to weld. I was in high school in 90’s - BIG HAIR- also I was first girl who took *metal shop* at the trade school. 💃🏻 😉First day I walked into class, the teacher, in front of the entire class, asked me if I was in the wrong room- this was metal shop. Yup- I reassured him I was aware of my location and choice. He wondered how that hair would fair with a welding helmet and ⚡️ sparks- it survived well. So I learned ARC, MIG, TIG, and gas welding. I took two years of metal shop in total. It was fun. My favourite method of welding 🥽 was ARC- there’s just something about that bead that’s beautiful and I love the flow and timing of arc. I liked TIG but it is quite difficult to adapt too and you can burn through so easily if you don’t watch your speed and flow. We only learned on aluminium- as it’s great for low temp welds. It’s got such a pleasant color and quietness to it- but difficult without practice I just never got on with MIG which is most people’s favourite- it was too messy for me. I guess MIG welders don’t mind the grind ;) Some don’t enjoy using sticks but this girl does My dad used to have a brass cannon I created on a lathe and a coupe samples of my beads on display. He was a welder too. Sheep Fan in Nashville Tennessee USA 🇺🇸 👋 Oh and those beads pass inspection for the purpose- nice and clean- I only saw one small hole which is outstanding with a mig for that light metal. I’d have melted the whole dang thing with a mig 😂

As I have read Cammy, the blue Texel is originated from a white Texel around 1968 at a breeder in Friesland from a 3-ling (2 white-1 blue) This is a recessive color variant (blue factor) I also read that around 1900 🇳🇱 farmers cross english varieties to improve the Texel. The varieties were Cotswold / Hampshire Down / Lincoln / Wensleydale. The first two dropped out, disappointing results, the other two were bred further, perhaps hence the blue factor. PS. was afraid that you were no longer allowed in with your wife (caravan). 🤣
