I was an unwed pregnant girl in 1975. My family sent me to live at an unwed mother's home. Thankfully, they took me in even though I'm blind and really they were the only support I had then to go through the process of adoption. If you ever find yourself in the same situation, I hope you know there is more help out there now for you.
