@lexxbjorklund, do not worry about your baby. Lexx, this is the first video of yours I've watched. My birth mother had no idea she was expecting for FIVE months. She smoked, she did drugs, she drank heavily. I am 100% fine. I'm intelligent, I have no issues, I was born breach a day after her water broke. So many cards were stacked against me, but I am fine. That was way back in 1970. Your baby will be exactly the way your baby is supposed to be. There are signs of possible FAS, those include heart defects and growth delays. As long as baby is on target, then things should be fine. I know someone who had no idea she was pregnant until she went into labor. You're doing fine. All good mothers do the best we can as soon as we can. I think you will be a great Mom as long as you are present. Parenting mistakes will be made, you will yell, you will cry, you will feel powerless. Just say "I'm sorry" and identify why. Not all mothers know what each cry means.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Baby L is right on track with everything. Head size, shape, femur length, weight, everything they can possibly measure :) She's actually so smack in the middle of the target, she could be the standard according to our midwife. Her heart beat has also been strong and healthy from day one, and she's moving so much on every ultrasound that it's hard to get decent pictures of her! All signs are pointing to healthy, happy baby

4:32 - According to your blog you drank heavily during the first four months of your pregnancy. I think that would indeed classify as hurting the baby. If you were trying to get pregnant, having unprotected sex for months, why didn't you take several pregnancy tests during those four months to see if you were pregnant? Couples who are trying actively are also taking home pregnancy tests frequently. Consuming alcohol at any amount at any time in your pregnancy is a grave risk to your future baby's health. There are multiple birth defects and disorders that do not show up on ultrasound or via blood tests, e.g. FAS. I think it would actually be to your benefit to be honest with how your pregnancy has been developing and the potential harm you've caused the baby, and not bury your head in the sand and lie to your followers.

Hi! While I do thank you for your concern, I'm going to trust my healthcare providers in this! The fact that I posted a few times about parties does not give you any information on if I consumed alcohol. If multiple doctors and multiple midwives, and all the tests have told me baby L is okay, I'll choose to believe it. Also, as stated in this video, we got pregnant the same week we started trying, and had every reason to believe it would take a long time to get pregnant, hence not taking tests right away. We did not try for months, like you claim. We tried for one week. While I appreciate the concern for baby's health, you really shouldn't speak without having all the facts :) Lexx

It seems quite odd though to try to have a baby for just one week, stop, wait four months and then take a test. It would be interesting to know why you only tried precisely one week and didn't take any tests for four months? When I was trying I took pregnancy tests every week for months until I finally became pregnant. It is unfortunate that you choose to deny your drinking during the pregnancy. In your new years post on your blog it is quite clear that you did drink. You speak so much about mental health awareness and neurodivergency, but when it comes to the fact that baby L might have FAS/FASD when she's born (or something else), you say nothing. It's dissapointing, since I usually enjoy your content.

Dont be sad tbat you missed the first few months!!! Early ultrasound scans actually hurt young fetuses and can lead to miscarriage in the first trimester...but the world isnt ready for that conversation!
