This is such a terrible thing to have happened to this young girl. I too was SA by a family member and what this woman said at the end had me in tears. It was like she released the demons that held me down due to the SA that I suffered just by her words. @@everlastingjoypodcast I just retired from being a school crossing guard I had a little girl in middle school she and I use to talk everyday in the morning upon arriving to school and afternoon when they let out. Ond day she was shying away scared to talk I ask her if she was ok and if everything alright she said everything was alright the next day she the samething finally she told me her stepfather was molesting her I ask her did you tell your mom she said her mom didn't believe her so I went into the school and told the principal then I reported it to my supervisor which was a captain in the police department I told what had happened and what was said. They start investigating they had her checked out they found his DNA they lock him and her mom up. She start living with her aunt her mom's sister and her mother will never ever see her again. I'm so glad she trusted me enough to tell me what was happening.
