She was abused as a child and that didn't stop her from moving a man in after 2 moths and knowing that he committed a SA against a minor when he was 21. She made horrible decisions and she should be happy she's not here in CA. I've seen parents get charged with "abuse by failure to protect". And that's the definition of what she did. I pray that baby gets the counseling and protection she deserves.

It would be different if she had no clue and he had no red flags, waited before letting him in her home. However, she just ignored his SA conviction on a child AND moved him in immediately after meeting him. I feel bad for her but she has a ton of responsibility in this. Men like this love to find women that put their needs over their child safety.

@@JustMandChey79 I completely agree with everything that you said and more States should adopt that law I wonder if there is a petition that we can sign or that people can sign to even adopt something like that in States where they don't have it I know Oklahoma City does because my mother was charged for failing to protect me when I was molested when I was 8 by her boyfriend. I don't know about feeling sorry for her myself I know I feel sorry for her children because if she had not ignored those humongous red flags he wouldn't have made sexually explicit comments about her son's private area nor would he have touched her daughter while she was laying in between him and her daughter some things that parents do are inexcusable and for me what she did after 2 months of talking to him on a chat line is an excusable especially when she said she was molested herself why would you let something like that happen to your child.

Since she still has these 2 kids she has to be ok for them to be ok and that's why I feel bad for her. Those babies are truly the only ones that were the victims. Since i've seen a lot of stories where the mothers or fathers let the devil in their front door then after harm comes they can't take the guilt and harm themselves, that's what I'm praying doesn't happen here. The last thing those kids would need is to lose her too. So I do hope that she's done some inner healing and reflecting to be healthy enough to care for them because they deserve it. I think they have been through enough. 3rd I'm not sure how these types of violations/laws are placed in state by state. I know that our CPS added it years ago after an incident (similar to this story) and sadly from what I've seen, that's the only time these changes are made. I hate that a child has to be hurt (or worse) before changes and protections are put into place.
