Humans don't start breeding as soon as they reach sexual maturity, unlike cats. And humans don't give birth to up to five babies at once who, in turn, become sexually mature half a year later. We do have a population issue but you can't deny the fact that cats, dogs, deer, coyotes, etc have the same problem.
