In sg. There is a 20week detailed scan. Where they usually confirmed the sex of yr foetus. And they checked for other stuff too

Congrats Jeanette! Please allow me to me to offer some advice based on my experience. As early as you can, once you start growing, start using pregnancy safe essential oil or cream and use generously on your belly. It helps in the itching that comes with the stretching skin as you progress and I found it helped me with stretch marks coz I didn't have any. Also once you start to get bigger, like 5 mths onwards, start using a belly support band under your clothes coz it supports your belly and hence lessens the strain on your back. Also later when your appetite improves, no matter how hungry you are, eat small meals at intervals rather than 1 big meal per sitting coz heartburn is real and it's no fun! Never eat for 2 persons coz baby doesn't need that and it's all just gonna turn into excess weight. Eat healthily and moderately and baby will get the right nutrients. Hope this helps. God bless!

Another person commented on it too but did you not get persuaded out of flying around 20 weeks pregnant? My gynae strongly encouraged me to drop my travel plans but because we were travelling multi-city and all the accom had been booked months in advance, I had to take the 20 weeks detailed scan twice at 19w+4 days and 20w+6 days. Each scan was $250 so I bombed $500 just because I had to travel at the 20 week mark. I will never travel during that timeframe again the next time around.

Regarding airport lounge, May I know which card you are using? Is it Korean or SG credit card? Usually I see your food vlogs so now hopefully is a chance to repay you (and to whoever else reading) with some information too.. 😅 There are basically 3 (or 2?) credit card that one can easily apply (minimum MAS 30k income) and have the annual fee perpetually waived with minimal to no spending AND still get access to the Priority Pass programme (PP) as long as your card is not cancelled. This PP entitlements includes restaurants, experiences and of course lounges! (Side note: sometimes lounges can be full and booked by airlines customers, and the food can be so-so, so restaurants can at times be a better option too) 1. DBS Altitude Visa - comes with 2 free entries and one of it you can use for guest, and the entries refreshes every card membership year. (You will need to monitor and apply for fee waiver, otherwise every year it will charge you $180 plus GST iirc and give you 10k miles, so on fee waiver = miles refunded = no cost to you) 2. Citibank PremierMiles Mastercard - basically same as DBS Altitude Visa to almost a T - except that the entries refreshes every calendar year (that is on 1st Jan) so do note and plan your PP usages accordingly! I would use the PP for whichever card(s) renewal is coming up first. 3. Standard Chartered Journey Visa card - again, almost same as DBS Altitude Visa to a T - except that it is stricter on getting a fee waiver for subsequent years (if the app fails, try the phone automated system, if fail, at most cancel card) If you apply for all 3, that’s already 6 entries available to you for zero or little spend!! 8 entries if you count the refresh on 1st Jan with Citibank PremierMiles Mastercard 😂 If you plan to sign up, do check out for any sign up bonuses first (at Singsaver or something), especially if you are new (usually past 12 months of not owning any of their cards are considered new) to the bank. It’s really free so paisei lugi! For PP restaurants (Incheon like don’t have, but Singapore one does!), depending on the place, they will either offer you a set meal of your liking (restricted selection) or provide you with credits (33.50SGD per entry used, so 2 entries entitles you to 67SGD) which you can spend on whatever food you want, including their shop merchandise! I’m pretty sure you can dabao onto your plane too 😊Take note of the GST too though so you don’t overspend and get a mini shock (the staff may help you with min-maxing it if you ask 😅 but for 67SGD it would be around 56SGD for actual items before GST). Oh and there is also a “spa” at T2 which I think you might need to go early to get a slot as they don’t take reservation. The PP app will show everything your PP account entry is entitled to. Also do note that you can’t let 5 other guests into lounge even though you have 6 entries (over your x3 PP accounts; 1 credit card is 1 PP account) in total, as the staff won’t allow you to use another account. Some staff may let you in to use a second account but I feel it would be an exception rather than the norm (no harm asking; got ask got chance, no ask no chance 😂). And even so, it will take up 4 entries for total of 3 person (because you will always use up one entry yourself first when you bring a guest). For restaurants it should be similar but I am not so sure. Not sure if you already know the above but I hope you (or whoever) manage to read this find it useful.. and 화이팅 on your pregnancy!
