My sentiments exactly. Just went through same sadness with another on the show Rocky Kanaka "Sitting with Dogs". He's another angel and works at a rescue center for and one of the recently rescued die shortly after being given so much love, cleaned up and then she died peacefully knowing she was loved.

Thank you for taking such amazing care of these babies. I know how hard it is to believe they're better off & out of pain. After losing mother cats because of the hard, hard life on the streets & my vets telling me "at least she was safe and protected for a little while." I've always had a hard time believing that, but it is true. They were safe, happy and spoiled before they passed on. That's what matters, their well being and quality of life. Thank you for telling us about Yasha. Death is a fact of life. It's important that people know that even though she wasn't in the best of health, you supported her until the end and showed her love. When she passed, she knew she was loved, and that's important. What some people don't understand is that all senior dogs were once cute little puppies themselves. They all deserve loving homes from the time they are puppies until they take their last breath in their old age. Rest in Love and Peace Sweet Yasha. In your last months you were loved and cherished. I hope you carried that in your heart when you left this earth. You are now a beautiful angel watching over those left behind. May your soul be at peace. Your earthly journey has ended and a new journey begins.

My sweet Chanel was diagnosed with terminal illness at age 11.5 yrs and given 6 months to live. We threw away the kibble and started a biologically appropriate raw diet (barf). She improved remarkably, but was on medications they said she could never stop. We celebrated her 13th bday before the medications finally caused organ failure. Litter-mate/sister Coco is still thriving on her raw (mainly beef+organs+bones+green tripe) diet and will be celebrating her 17th birthday next February. She still runs and swims almost every day and her teeth sparkle without having to brush. Commercial grade wet or dry pet food is slowly killing your best friends.

How heartbreaking that Yasha passed so soon. Thank you for saving his life, even if only for a short time. I'm so happy to see Varya, couldn't get her out of my mind and that she was left on the street alone, deaf and blind. I'm so incredibly happy to see her doing better and getting so much love. My most special rescue ever who was diabetic and blind passed away last year after 10 years with me. Varya reminds me of her with her sweet old lady face and cataracted eyes. Please give her a huge hug and multiple kisses from one of her biggest fans here in the states. Very grateful for the lives you guys save.
