Agree, it's soo cruel and sad, but... it's common in the countryside in most parts of the world, it's the sad reality for dogs and even more for cats. I heard from people in a village in Switzerland that their neighbours are still doing it and it's difficult to stop them. 😠😥

You don't understand the value of life if you feel sorry for dogs in the war zone! Like you said, PEOPLE have hellish fear that they or their children, spouses, parents, grandparents, friends could die anytime. Imagine the fear the children felt when they were kidnapped to Russia. Imagine the desperation what people felt when they didn't have electricity. They had to cook in the yard in winter time.

They were probably elderly. I was brought up in a post-communist country where it was quite a common practice to get rid of unwanted puppies in the countryside.Horrid , I know, but it was normal for locals.

There are people, even children, dying in Ukraine and children has been kidnapped to Russia! Some human mothers were left without their children! There has been 19000 children kidnapped to Russia and only 364 of them have been returned to their parents. There would have been more dogs in street if the puppies were saved. Do you really think that there are vet clinics open in the country that is in the middle of the war? People themselves still lack of for example water in some parts of Ukraine. People don't have strength or money or recourses to take care of dogs. They are afraid of every second that they can be killed any moment. They are extremely happy if they are alive the next morning.

Layla is so beautiful and she seems so well behaved. She does not behave like she used to be stray. I cried when I heard you say that her puppies were all drowned by the people in the neighborhood. Adopted a female Siberian Husky, Winter, out of an LA shelter just six months ago. Not so much her "getting used' to me but me getting used to her! A whole different world! Sheds like crazy and I have 'armed' myself with a special wire brush to brush her coat every two weeks! Hope your stray girl finds a forever home ASAP.

With our large dogs and wolf mix we used a bent wire brush originally used for helping with carding wool for spinning. Like the smaller grooming brushes, but 8” square. They loved it.

Yes, Huskies are "outdoor dogs", they love to live close to their family but want to be outside a lot! Not a dog for every body 😉 but a great friend forever. A friend of mine who live in the countryside has a husky, such a funny guy and so cute, the whole village love him! And the friend became very sporty and fit! 😉 In the beginning the dog was inside the house, but they build an area for him, so he can live outside, and he is so happy now!!

They say for a husky there are two shedding seasons… January thru June and July thru December! She had a lot of floof to get rid of! The combing she really enjoyed. Spa day to the max! What a stunning Husky Layla is. Young and very healthy but do sad about her 9 babies. What is even more heartless, is that the didn't even have the Heart to leave her 2 puppies. Anyway, Layla had clearly moved on with all the love and pampering she is getting and looks so happy and content. Very well behaved dog for a stray. Husky's are usually very vocal and that dog is quiet and only howled once on camera. I think you will probably be able to find her a forever home.

IF there are NO laws against this sick cruel practice petition your government to enact laws , so this won't happen again. Maybe list phone # of rescues in villages will help .
