I am 7 months pregnant today after over 3 years of heartbreak… we lost 3 babies on this journey and God kept telling in our hearts to JUST TRUST HIM AND WAIT but it was very very hard… everyone around me got pregnant … the doctors told me I would never get pregnant at home and have a healthy pregnancy…BUT GOD …. When we least aspected it He did the most beautiful miracle and we got pregnant at home without any intervention and with a very healthy baby…. God still does miracles He is the same yesterday today and tomorrow… the journey was hard but we learned and changed so much it was not without sense… Praying for everyone still in the TTC journey keep praying and trusting God is good 🙏🏻

Got an emergency c section at 37 weeks with my 3rd baby and baby was born a day before hurricane. We live 2 hours from Tampa and we had a few tornadoes here. Was a crazy week for us but good luck when it’s your turn it’s a blessing :)

You'll really only need one going home outfit for the baby! They usually keep the babies in just a diaper and constantly swaddled in a hospital swaddle because the baby gets check ups every few hours! I brought like 3 outfits and he only wore one when going home!

I had an emergency c section after pushing and we ended up using the three outfit sets I brought along with the hospital outfits! you never know but yes hospitals have tons of extras, it’s the best!

Milton was an awful hurricane with TORNADOS! Like WHATTTT??? I had so much anxiety during the storm and all our phones going off with alerts of near by tornados! I was like wth do we do other than hide in a closet??? Florida is not made for this weather. It’s just insane! I’m just like you born and raised here in Miami and now we are in Fort Myers.

I don’t remember how I felt when my baby dropped but I do remember waddling! If you go to a prenatal chiropractor they should be able to feel where he is in your pelvis. At my last prenatal appt my chiropractor “knew” my baby would be here before that coming Monday just from how low he was

Thank you for being the voice of reason regarding the hurricanes and Florida. The media is out of control with their fear mongering. People have endured hurricane season every year for generations. Nothing new. And like you said, the infrastructure is built for this. And I find Floridians are very resilient and have a calm “it is what it is and we live our lives” attitude towards the season. 😊 I’m in dry Arizona which I’m thankful for!

Any signs 3-4 weeks before labor typically will begin is just body very slowly preparing it doesn’t mean you’ll go early . Going early is extremely rare and it’s not something to want for. Babies that are in longer are healthier.

We were basically same time line for pregnancy and last week I had SO much pressure down there, lots of Braxton hicks and turns out I was in active labor, 5cm dilated and 90% effaced at only 37 weeks with my first and had no idea lol thought it was just an end of pregnancy thing, but apparently not! Had my baby on Wednesday! So keep an eye out!

it's just different coming from someone who doesn't experience hurricanes that it is scary to think about compared to someone who does and understands what happens. the news and media has made hurricanes look as terrifying as tornados thus making those who don't live in the south near the ocean more anxious and worried. as long as proper precautions are taken that's all that matters.
