Re: Escape Rooms in LA. Look up Questroom, I went to the dungeon one with some friends in December 2019. It was definitely one of the most fun ones I've ever been to! Most escape rooms are just puzzle rooms in an office building with a thin veneer of a theme, but this one goes hard on the set design and atmosphere.
@emmittmorgans80763 жыл бұрын
I may or may not be a bit biased, but (when they re-open) Escape Hotel does a pretty good job at theming, too! EDIT: I checked out the Questroom website and that alone has made me concede that you may be very well correct...

It's not an escape room but The Magic Castle is cool, it's not open to the public though, you have to be invited. I'm sure you can find someone to get you in. It's not too hard if you live out here. I don't know if Covid has changed anything but you should try.

I 100% always tell any company that tries to sell me something "I have no interest in this product, nor will I ever" and if they try to push the sell I hang up. I only give positive reviews to employees that respect myself and my time, so if I'm cancelling and they try to stop me I get their name and give a poor review saying exactly what they did. I however do not blame the employee, I specifically say that it is the predatory practices of the company and their policies that lead me to cancelling. if when reviewed by someone higher up it is discovered it is not a part of their job expectation they act the way they did they get in trouble. If it is they are just doing their job and the company sees that it's their policy and not the employee that caused this.

You are both so funny and smart, and I love your videos. It's really good that you consistently set an example and talk about the importance of not being a jerk to people, and not making things deliberately harder for someone. That's a good message, and people who treat others badly for no reason should be called out if they need a reminder to act like adults. It's less reasonable to talk down about kids, or their parents, who are trying to get through they day, and are having a hard time. Of course there's a lot of kids at a kids movie. As far as the parents that were at a movie late with their child...I have known a couple people that had similar situations with kids where they did something similar because their autistic child had been having trouble sleeping, he wasn't in school, and he loved watching movies at the theater when there weren't too many people there. They weren't loud and didn't bother anyone. One of my kids is autistic, and when he was little he would get stressed easily, he wasn't trying to bother anyone. We've always made a point of cleaning up our messes, having had eons of experience working in restaurants and retail, and we have always tried to show the respectful way to treat others and be appropriate. It's just harder for some than others, and it's not uncommon for people to describe kids to sound like they're being horrible on purpose when they're just doing kids stuff. Putting equal fault on someone who has a universally obvious reason for not knowing better is kind of mean. In spite of being kids, sometimes they're still behaving better than some of the adults around. Especially since there's a number of different developmental delays, illnesses and disabilities that can be affecting either the children, or their parents. I have 4 kids that are between 12 and 20 now, and there were multiple times when we were in public and had people deliberately and loudly complain about how much they hated kids, like they were so proud of themselves. One time a woman almost knocked my then 3 year old daughter to the ground on purpose when she wasn't in her way, and she wasn't saying or doing anything. I don't understand the arrogance that I see when people publicly criticize kids or their families when they're just as worthy as anyone else. It's totally fine to be annoyed if something is very disruptive. But putting the it in the more hostile "kids are annoying" message out there stirs up contempt towards people who are younger and more vulnerable. With two guys who are as nice and talented as you guys are on a show where you generally encourage everyone to be respectful, and put a good positive message out, and encouraging people to use their own thinking skills. What you said about not wanting to put bad stuff out there into the world, that sums it up nicely. Thanks for the entertainment, and frequent voices of reason.
