The idea of being eaten alive a by a massive prehistoric vulture while experiencing frostbite is terrifying

This pterosaur is the closest thing we ever got to an ice dragon

Thank you very much for the video, it probably had a larger beak, not so pointy, probably to be more generalist in its environment.

How about Azhdarcho, the namesake member of the family?

Why was the carcass abandoned only after one day? I feel like the predator would have stayed for at least three or four.

If there's a plentiful supply of food around at certain times of the year, most large carnivores can afford to leave their kills after eating their fill.

I had heard that the idea of Azdarchids as scavengers had been mostly disproven. Instead was thought they were like giant versions of herons and stork, hunting small prey on the ground. Is this incorrect, or is it still being debated?
@raptorrex39544 ай бұрын
It is still debated and it depends on the species. However the 'Giant Stork' theory is the most favored idea of how they hunted. Of coarse almost all carnivores scavenge, just because one theory is preferred over others doesn't mean the animal in question didn't have multiple behaviors and different ways to feed.
