Is this by the same people who did Pulstar and Blazing Star? The visual style and gameplay looks very similar. I know these games don't usually focus much on story, but it's a bit surprising - and disappointing - that there's literally no plot here whatsoever, particularly after the way the first game ended.

Pulstar was made by a different company, Aicom. And yes, Blazing Star & Prehistoric Isle 2 were made by Saurus & Yumekobo. 🦖

@@luisreyes1963 its the same company some what. Aicom broke off from Sammy in 1996, and with funding from SNK, became Yumekobo, producing games mainly for SNK systems

The Japanese version uses the HP meter, while the US version uses a stockpile.
