I remember reading this first in a DK Dinosaur book, being so intrigued because they only shown Deinocheirus with its fossilised large arms as long as a man and a silhouette shaped like Gallimimus. It's a great mystery to me until i touched Internet and in the time much complete fossils are found - it's basically a spinosaurian ornithomimosaur, A camel-duck.... Prehistoric Planet ended the mystery once and for all....

Amazing. Deinocheirus faintly resembles a Spinosaurus, but it's a herbivore with many unique qualities. I wonder if it could swim. I'm sure it was powerful enough to defend itself against some large predators. I wish they put it in a Jurassic Park movie.

Deinocherius was actually an omnivore as stomach contents revealed it also ate fish. Deinocherius was probably like the grizzly bear of its time, an opportunistic omnivore that ate whatever was available.

I don't know about that. I'll buy that they ate fish and were maybe technically omnivores, but I feel like with that bill they wouldn't be able to eat much meat. Fish I can see because they probably swallowed them whole like pelicans or something. But it looks like they didn't have teeth so that wouldn't be good for tearing through flesh or anything.@@danloke3511
