did you ever checked the chemicals used in a face wash they are using surfactant for cleaning and using lots of chemicals but soap i mean not the commercial soap available in market, saying about the organic handmade soap, those soaps are made from rich oils like olive and coconut which has good moisturising effect proper cleaning of skin, i had worked in cosmetics R&D and i know how many chemicals they are using make these types of products thats why i switched to hand made organic soap which has PH of 7 - 9 but doesnt really harm your skin as herbs inside the soap will protect the skin and natural glycerin will moisturise.
