First of all, nice video. but there are many wrong explanation in this video. Normally, the temperature sensor of the A.C unit is placed on the suction path(where part of the air is recirculated from the cooling area into the A.C unit) where we have this large dust filter (sensor located just behind this). So the sensor is well protected from direct sun light (and not otherwise, which you mentioned as a false reason). The room temperature shown in the Remote controller is given by the Indoor (main) unit. If the A.C unit regulates the temperature of the Room based on the temperature sensor present in the Remote, and you place the remote outside your cooling area, then temperature regulation is completely collapsed. I think the "Follow me" (an intelligent) option is suited for large space where you need to control the temperature which is far off from the Indoor unit.
