Logical answer is also “G”. Because we do not know the rules of the sequence we must start with a postulate that is true for the observed sequence. Note that read from left to right these letters are letters that appear in reverse alphabetical order with the omission of the vowel letter “I” . Postulate: this is a sequence of letters in reverse alphabetical order starting at “L” omitting vowels. The next letter in the sequence would have to be “G” as it is next in reverse alphabetical and not a vowel. If the sequence continues the next letter to OMIT would be “E”. On the keyboard the sequence would break down after the letter “D” but this is irrelevant because there is only one space left to fill….

The Fibonacci sequence, so easy! If you look at the differences in positions of the letters, you'll realize that the pattern is 1,1,2,... which means the next logical number is 3 and 8th position minus 3 is the 5th position which is E

Another solution that yields G is that this is a section of the alphabet backwards with vowels removed: Z-y-X-W-V-T-S-R-Q-P-N-M-(L-K-J-H-G)-F-D-C-B Someone else already stated something similar. Oh well.

Or E, alphabetically L-K = 1 step, K-J is 1 step, J-H = 2 steps thus next should be 1+2 = 3 thus E following the Fibonacci sequence backwards from L

Here's how I would've answered it : Let R_(some letter) be the rank of that letter in the alphabet. This beans R_l=12, R_k=11, R_j=10 and R_h=8. Observe that 12-0!=11, 11-1!=10 and 10-2!=8. Therefore, the next number should be 8-3!=2, which represents the letter B.
