I've always brought the gel bottle or urban Graffiti this being because of KZbin. I was definitely sucked in by brand names. (I do press on nails and that's my income) I can't believe I've been using up to £14 Gel Polishes for press on nails that I hardly make a profit on. So I sold all my brands and switched to Premier and they are creamy and apply beautiful. Not only have I saved money, I made more money with because the cost to make is considerably cheaper.

An order from Premiergel arrived damaged and leaking and cost me nearly £50. They are awful for customer service, refunded me only £10... Don't buy from them in my opinion...

I would happily review the Gel Bottle, however with me no longer having my salon, it's not financially viable for me to constantly be spending out on every new gel polish brand to try out for videos, however I always tell companies that I'm open to receiving press samples which potentially will be used in videos if I like them. If I really like them they will be used time and time again and that's free advertising for the brand concerned. That's how I ended up with a good selection of Magpie gel polishes and glitters. In actual fact, I reached out to The Gel Bottle about a year ago saying that I'd heard great things about the brand and asking if they wanted to send through any PR samples for potential use in videos. They read my message and didn't bother to respond which is the first time I've encountered that with any brand that I've reached out to.

I have tried the gel bottle in my salon. They are a very good brand product wise. Customer service, they suck!!! I had so much trouble with them about stock, products etc. I sent many emails and many phone calls, to which i had a reply, FINALLY! HR personally rang myself, I explained the situation and they cost me up too £300 of my own personal loss to the shop. (In a nut shell, they didn't deliver my rubber base, told me I could use another builder in a bottle from their brand, it didn't work. Kept peeling etc and i had £300 worth of nails I had to redo) Their answer was........ I'm sorry, do you still love us?! Then the phone cut off! I followed up with another email and nothing! So i found another great brand called Halo, A Really great gel in a bottle. You should try it. But have ordered premier gel and will definitely give this a go in my salon. Very excited xxx

Jay Chapman IKR!! I ordered from them and I had problems with separation when I was only using their product. Their base, their builder, still having issues. I kept asking questions and they seemed like they had no idea what they were talking about! I will definitely give Halo a try.

Hi. I'm a therapist and currently use a fantastic gel brand called vb line. Their colours and pictures of gels look exactly the same as these. I wondered if you had tried the vb line brand and what you thought of it? I find it to be excellent and lasts forever. I'd appreciate your feedback if you can give me any??

Like these, shame that I can’t use uv gels anymore... I am one of those diy-ers that didn’t listen when told to use uv gel manufacturers lamp instead a generic one. Oh well, lesson learned. Recently I’ve been enjoying dip powders but I don’t like the removal and in fill technique in my local salon and I would like to learn how to do it myself( the removal process is way too drastic, i spent a year growing out the damage they caused by overdrilling) Im happy to educate myself at a school but here is my dilemma: in UK Do the schools need to be part of a specific nail technician bodies, is there a universal accreditation system?Please could you explain how it works? What is your experience/opinion with dip powders? I know Its a lot of questions but after my gel mishap I am trying to be careful and want to do things correctly. Can’t do acrylics either- epinychium swells and is SUPER itchy. Firstworldproblems 😂 If there is video you already made or a blog post just let me know and Ill dig for it... as to date i have not been able to find it.... I am veery bad researcher! or maybe some of your lovely subscribers will be able to help thanks in advance cmuck x

hello! what happened with the uv light, what kind of light did you use?

Imola Szilágyi i used a cheap non branded uv light to cure soak off gel polishes like axxium gels by OPI, GELISH and many others. After 2-3 years(its been a while) of under curing or over curing the polish I developed dermatitis, causing my tips of fingers to blister and cause painful bleeds. Natasha explains this phenomenon in one of her videos. I cant recommend it highly enough, the video I mean. I used to think that brands like CND, OPI, Harmony Gelish just wanted to push their overpriced uv lamps but it did turn out that there was logic to it and I paid for it- no more uv gel for me... hence trying something new that i dont seem to react negatively to... dip powders. But my local salon is too rough with the drill. I think I can do a better job, but want a proper training so I don’t mess up like last time.

@@utilka yikes, i have a random non branded uv light i received years ago and i just now bought some gel polishes to do my nails at home, but they are also a random brand from a mall, they don't have a recommended lamp. interesting because when i got a gel polish manicure at the salon i usually go to, they didn't have a brand lamp either and they used CND gel polishes. but i didn't get the gel manicure very often, about 3-4 times a year. I'll have to rewatch Natasha's video. sorry this happened to you, what abut LED lamps, do you also react to those?

Imola Szilágyi watch the video on allergies... but be warned the images are gruesome! It did take me 3-4 years to react and I did my nails nearly every week.... but knowing what I know now, i would save money for the proper lamp from a reputable seller... it will cost though. I had my nails done in many salons and a very small group has used appropriate lamp. There was only 1 place where I queried that and then explained my concerns after the research I did and only this place actually seemed to listen and next time I visited they had appropriate lamps as they realised that they would be responsible for damage to their clients nails... i realise the cost is ridiculously high ... so some places will risk it. I had both generic bulb one as well as a nailene led lamp (brand available in uk chemist-boots) both caused problems. I will say though I did try some CND gel manicures with soak offs after I realised what was going on, cured with the cnd led lamp, it didn’t cause any issues, but it didn’t last the 2 weeks . In some cases it started lifting next day. I just took it as a message to stop experimenting with gels and move on. I moved onto dip powders.

🤤 Beautiful. I have health concerns I have not yet researched regarding using gel polish. I've only become interested in the nail polish/nail art community fairly recently and have been blown away by the Indie polishes so researching health concerns has been on a back burner. These swatches are making me reconsider. How they self level, quickly dry, and the colors dance... Inspirational.

I LOVE premier gel, I've been using them for a few months now and I really enjoy them. The sad thing is that they will be going pro only at the end of this month, I'm *so* gutted . That red was amazing! I love the prices because it's low in UK currency so once it's converted to Australian dollars it's not astronomical (I have to roughly double the price in AUD). Hopefully, they ship to Australia and that the shipping isn't hugely expensive.

The sticky layer can be a bit of a bugger for foil application and bigger glitters don’t stick so well but this can be negated by flash curing and then adding glitter before completing the cure.

the international shipping cost kills me. 30 pounds? that's ridiculous. i don't understand why companies can't work out better rates for international shipping. yeah the price of the polish is decet but with shipping like that I'm never going to order.
