Premier Inn London Gatwick North Review

We are back at the very conveniently located Premier Inn London Gatwick North following easing of restrictions. So, what’s the full experiences like? Here’s a room tour and review, a look at all the facilities (some shocking revelations about the state of some areas) and we try out dinner at Thyme restaurant. Here’s the low down! Hi Jamie, I really enjoy your vlogs! A hack for the lighting slot…any credit card sized card will activate this so even if you only have one room key, you can still keep the a/c on whilst you’re out! I always have an unused/unimportant credit card sized card in my travel bags for this reason nowadays! Try it out next time 😁

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I'm headed to London for the first time in eight years, and I've only ever flown in/out of Heathrow. For the night prior to my return flight to the US, I booked at this hotel but all the information, photos and reviews I've seen are terribly outdated, so I have been worried. Now, I'm actually very excited and feel prepared! Safe travels!

Thanks for another fantastic preflight hotel tour video Jamie 😀 These are such great and helpful videos - so many holiday vlog series start at the airport or cruise terminal, but where you stay before you fly or sialkot makes a big impact on your vacation 😊 We do love a Premier Inn room (and breakfast 😋) - we generally find we can rely on the same good quality and comfort. The public areas are at the mercy of the other guests though - why anyone would treat a hotel like that we have no idea! It's a huge shame about the Costa experience - that syrup mistake is a big one! They need to sort that out ASAP.

Apparently it’s standard to fill your drink with sugar syrup 😆 If was a very affordable room but like you I can’t fathom why anyone would treat the hotel like this!

When we stay in the Premier Inn we usually do the meal deal, evening meal with a drink and breakfast. Works out much cheaper. Love the Premier Inns. Great value.

Yes if you’re wanting dinner there as well that works out well - very true (we tend to ‘eat out’ as there are lots of good restaurants in Southampton)

Thanks for making a video, I have got questions. I have booked premier inn north terminal so how I can get the room on the top floor? Will the check in staff do it for me??

If you want a specific room or floor you’d need to ask staff at reception (and/or send a request in advance)

Check in was 3pm and check out 12pm. You can pay supplements to arrive earlier (from 10am) or leave later (up to 4pm)
