So to start the game now you get a choice of an attacker, a speedster, or an all-rounder. You get one attacker for free. Unlock 2 more attackers and a defender through the starter missions, a speedster through free events, and an all-rounder through the 7-day challenge. No wonder 90% of games are all attackers and no one wants to play defenders or supporters. Half of the pokemon you can get or choose at the start are attackers. No supporters at all anywhere to be seen. And one single defender. The game introduces new players to the game with so many attackers, so of course many people will just stick to what they know. Granted it was always skewed that way even with the earlier starting lineup, but its even worse now.

We used to have Snorlax and Elde as possible starter too. I get that Snorlax gets removed, since it's hard to carry bot matches with it, but Elde was fine 🥺

Also, attackers feel great when they work, but defenders and supports are less satisfying, especially for newer players.

Quick way of identifying bots: by their battle item. Bots always use the same battle items and most of times they don't have access to the newest mons (released after Tyranitar): -full heal: CRAMORANT -xAtk: GARDEVOIR; MAMOSWINE, CRUSTLE; Char, Machamp, Garchomp, TYRANITAR, Dragonite -xSpeed: Slowbro, Talon. -potion: Mime, Elde, BLISSEY. -eject: Gengar, Absol, Zeraora; Lucario; WIGGLY; Snorlax, Blastoise, Greedent; Venu, Pika, Greninja, Cinder, Sylv, A9. Some of these are really uncommon among real players. If you see these there's a high chance they're bots, if they have different items, they are not bots.

13:11 I think they usually make the team to be a similar power level to the opposing team. I've had matches in Solo Challenge where my whole team were attackers for some reason and I can't imagine why bots would do that for any other reason.

Ok, so the first and second match I'm pretty sure were bots (also, in the 2nd match A9 went afk in top lane at 18:25 so they were also a bot) but in the last match I feel like it was with real players just bcs: - Almost everyone in that team were chaising every kill they could get even with low hp (esp Zera) - At 29:48 Urshifu tried to score in the wrong goal at bot lane, that's a common mistake in low ranks

2:40 Oh hey that's me! I was the Meowscarada. I was experimenting with the shedinja doll and won't lie it's a painfully mid item but has some utility for hyper-aggro positioning but it feels much more niche than eject button. There's a lot of commitment for a move that's really good at ambushing and doing a bunch of crowd control and eject button improves both while doll... Kinda improves crowd control? The invincibility is nice until it wears off and leaves you super vulnerable. With the schpiel out of the way though, ggs on the match! Really good comeback in the final part of the match and maybe we encounter each other again sometime 👁️

You can know if they were bot by looking at their battle pass level. If the deviation is 5, it means they are bots.

Once the match begins, if you go lane and stack, typically the 2 2 point bunnelby will still be alive. And the bots wait like 2 seconds before they move at the start of the match. They also stand still in a goal zone after scoring for a second or two.

Ngl but bots have slowly been getting smarter as time has passed since the release of the game. And by smarter I mean the enemy team bots cuz I swear to god my bot team is just as stupid as my usual teammates when it comes to cooperating and grouping up... This season my friend and I got into a random bot match while ranking up and we nearly lost it at ray cuz our team was elsewhere while the enemy team was ripping ray and even managed to get it.. Luckily my friend and I managed to dunk last minute to save us, but boy... it was horrible.

I actually had a much lower wr at lower ranks, precisely because I wasn't adapting to their 'bad' plays. Once I got up to 1500+ my wr has sky-rocketed since people make the 'correct' plays and I'm usually in the right spot as a result. I think at low ranks you really have to change your strategy to match whatever your team is doing, even it is far from the ideal play normally.
